APES have left classic wow but here are my thoughts

likely next week because I am on limited budget. all I have to do is stick to the budget for a week then move my orc boy then I’l move the rest of my horde crew from pyre to mirage.

Well numbers being the same or even sligthly higher today than they have been for the last two months means not dying in my book. This goes for the PvE cluster only. PvP is a lost cause since 1. most hordies went to BCC. 2. Blizz did not merge all servers.

And sorry this pertains to Classic Era. But the situation is basically the same in TBCC: PvP servers dying, PvE and RP-PvE thriving.

i’l hop into blood elf rogue on mirage for time being in 5-6 hours. maybe evenings I am suppose to play.

I don’t care that APES left, I just come here to say that.
Never cared for speedrunning or twitch or any e-sport that is made out of a game that is so easy that you can bind your ability to the entire keyboard and smash any key.

Think it’s hilarious that they made a four hour video of their decision to leave, like anyone is going to watch that. People were telling to skip to the last 10 minutes lol.

4 hour video? What are you talking about? You mean the maitoz stream where on end he said he is qutting?

Btw how can you be so dumb? Anycompetitive game is easy and its difficulty is skill of your opponents

Because for some reason many people believe PvP server is ‘how the game should be played’ even if that means being on a monofaction server.

Yeah, that what my friends told me, inviting to PvP server and started rage quitting during phase 2.
I just said "Screw it, you can always find me on PvE server. I am not participating in entertainment of the Horde at the cost of my free time on 35:65 server."and made transfer of my main.

Here are my thoughts, i don’t care, they don’t mean anything special compared to any other guild in the game raiding or social ones.

How many guilds quit wow by now? alot no1 cares.
how many guilds will form every day? alot or not still no1 cares.

Literally the most irrelevant thing in the universe is if some guild quit some game or if they didnt quit some game.

They don’t have any impact in the game whatsoever, whoever thinks faction balance is somehow gonna get impacted by this is delusional.

If u want faction balance, blizz has to force it, through locking char creation on x side , offering FREE faction changes in 1 direction/ free char transfers/ merging realms. There is no reason for this amount of realms to exist, list should be halved and merged. Any “medium” realm should be cosidered “low” and all the low ones should be merged without question. And im not talking about garbage RETAIL server merge where u got 5 different realm names next to every1s name, one single NEW NAME realm where ppl have to grab their char names on first come first served basis, its a low price to pay for a healthy realm.

im currently on ashbringer, one of the few servers thats almost 50-50
even if the sides are balanced you get other problems, for example here the recruitment is fully dead, and the only new people we get are noggerfoger exiles and such, bringing their 10 man guild with them and attempting to recruit lol
edit: point being, overall population of ur side is more important than balance in my book, i wouldnt mind having 5k ally and 10k horde, but 2,5k per side makes the server feel kinda dead to be honest, especially if u are trying to recruit/find decent arena partner

Why get your self stuck if you dont have to? Moving to PvE server locks you out from ever going on another server with a PvP tag on it.

THis is the TBC forum, why would anyone talk about the other version here?

people have in the past.

i dunno about any alliance who’s coming to fire firemaw, but there are ALOT Of horde transferring from many other servers to firemaw on daily bases!

at some point Firemaw will start to get long queue time & then those hard-core alliance guilds in there will just leave to another less stress server, then firemaw will be horde dominated so gl to any alliance who think that you’ll win the numbers on firemaw

It’s normal that apes left the game the alliance situation it’s repulsive with hordes doing bgs with gnome mask, one mytic guild left the game its a bad sygnal of the future of the game…

it’s not about burning the game for themselves on ptr! this game is already burned from 14years & that has nothing to do with people quitting, But even without ptr? in classic or pre-tbc? many hardcore guilds was practicing in personal private servers for those raids for months before it gets released, So the real reason any hardcore guild would quit? is all about “they put loads of stress upon themselves” if by making and raiding on many alts / more hard work for speed runs / alot of worries about progressing super fast…etc

and when you don’t play for fun? if u have anything to worry about? stress will start to built up, and the result of anyone who play under stress is a sudden quit, Specially if he can’t earn money from wow.

Not true for all of us. I always want to be on a balanced server. Preferably with slightly more Alliance, so I have more to kill.

Who cares if a bunch of tryhards dont enjoy the game any more? Are you basing your enjoyment of it on someone elses enjoyment of it?

Listen to the reason they quit, there is alot of truth there, also apes were pretty much THE reason why gehe was the server it was
