“Positive representation” is a term I’ve come to despise. Having a game show you that "hey look, these guys aren’t so bad after all! " feels incredibly patronizing.
Instead, I’d prefer more nuance. Maybe make players question why a certain faction is hostile, and not make their motivations one-dimensional, or cartoonish. Life is one big grey-scale.
Unfortunately though, nuance is not something I associate with Blizzard.

Nobody (not even the OP) want clumsy forced “Positive” representation.
But it’s not too much to ask for some realistic portrayal. Adding some civilians (such as children or craftsmen) is not exatcly forced “Positivity”. Nobody is asking for a bunch of heros with halos saving the day.
And this only if they do a revamp in southern Kalimdor around Tanaris.
Of Blizzard haven’t done a great job recently with their inclusivity in DF, it has felt very forced (especially with number of lgbt quests). They’ve not done it well just by having it be too many and being quite cluncky.

Oh, I’m aware - I left AD after 7-8 years being there, just due to the negativity and other crabs going on, even if it wasnt towards myself ever. But the negativity did start to affect me - thus I left the server and forum completely.
Aint going back to that hell hole.
