today i jumped into korthia - a bit over hour and got 1000+ rep .
yes diminishing returns there are real .

It’s did not happen as he said. Since Korthia realised I skipped maybe 1-2 weeks, some lazy days, some I grinded it all what could and I still need 5k rep
its literlay how i said - i even didnt do korthia farm for first 4 weeks of patch . because i couldnt be bothered. still 11k/16k atm .
You are not wrong, its all been tailored to give more rep tokens the less time you spend there , you dont need to spend that much time in korthia before that becomes painfully obvious
I just ignore it, there’s no meaningful reward to get to rank 6.
after getting the 4 covenant tied drop mounts, I just ignored the whole place, I just go there sometimes to farm leather on my skinner/leatherworker when I need armor kits on my main, as those skinnable mobs respawn quite quickly.
I havent said fired. I said located somewhere else. Lets take ion for instance. Imo he shouldnt hold the rank of lead dev. He should instead be put into raid design and raid design only again.

Gonna agree with the OP. With my limited spare time, even considering Korthia just seems like a waste to me. It’s not fun, and the rewards aren’t all that impressive either.
Either way, teams should be shaked up !
And get rooted, and rooted… and rooted
And if timed just perfectly and Interrupt is on cooldown and you pull 3 of those shades they all deathbeam you while rooted. Joy.

We have like how many currencies from this expansion alone? Over 10 probably and pretty sure if we listed all of them, many people wouldn’t have ever heard of like half of them
Also often we have like 3-4 requirements to buy a single item - some combination of anima, rep, renown + some random other currency.
There is no way this was designed by someone who plays the game or is a gamer in general but some analyst who was trying to suck in players for as long as possible.
you can also add that for a single currency there can be a multitude of variations of items that fill your bags (see anima power and researches)

there’s a vendor in korthia that sells stuff for 4 different currencies!
4 different currencies on a single vendor, this is unnecessarily convoluted.

Killing a rare or opening a chest and getting around 10 relics. This is 5 rep. How much more of an unrewarding bs system could they come up with? Then you have stuff like Shao Hao where you kill 1 random mob and get 15 rep. I miss just grinding mobs and stuff tbh.

if you clear whole zone and do all daileis you hsoudl end up with 700-1100 rep .
yes killing 1 rare is not much - but its not meant for you to kill 2-3 rares and be done.
I enjoyed the rep grind finished both, got some mounts upgrades and all but a couple of the dailys are fun

You must have been so lucky and only person i know to get epix quest relic rewards on those 2 days .
