When I was in college a young kid was in the local store with his mom asking her to buy him a game.

She asked me, who was also browsing the games, what it was about, did I know anything about it, and was it appropriate for her son. The game in question? GTA. Told her no, it’s not. I’m sure everyone knows why.

Kid was not pleased when I told his mom what happened in that game.

No siblings, watched my mum play games when I was younger like tomb raider. Have a family friend though and played (terribly) as tails on sonic and stuff like that. I was Alliance and parents were Horde but switched eventually!

People play WoW at any time of the year.
Last year i left early from a new years party.

Went home, fired up for WoW and there were plenty of people online.

No i wont. Will be enjoying Xmas dinner and family time. My PvP gear gathering can wait.

It is annoying when others interfere with your gaming time.

I usually log on later on Xmas night after visiting my Mums etc.

This year gona go to Ironforge and get my presents off the big man then gona try and farm the Otto mount :otter:

Yes ofc i got no friends.

I am all alone but wow makes me not alone.

Yes i will. I’m stopping by for a family dinner of potato salad and chicken schnitzels with carp. And then I’m gonna play till late in the morning. I don’t see the problem. It’s a day like any other. I’ll light some scented candles to add to the ambiance. If I don’t have a girlfriend and I live alone, what else can I do?

Yes. I’m on my own after 11am, gyms closed so some WoW. But I don’t plan to spend the day playing.

Wow doesn’t hold my interest to keep me playing for me than an hour or two but I will play at least a bit.

Yeah, simply put my other half will be at her mother’s for a few days from Xmas eve night, got kids but ex won’t let me see them and don’t speak to my family. So it’ll be a nice quite few days to fish/hunt mounts and get my Mage to 70 and actually maybe do some DF story quests.

No, we are leaving abroad tomorrow and not coming back till January. Not taking my laptop with me.

But if I stayed at home and did not have a shift at work, I would probably play a little even on Christmas.

Yes, I will.

Why? Because after you eat there’s nothing else to do. Most families watch some boring movie on TV so …

Abolutely not. Not going to be some loser playing wow on x-mas eve. Lol waiting for digital present in wow?? I rather spend the day watching kiddo open up his presents, then playing around with his new toys. Sipping on my cocoa and baileys with the wife. And yes, i think i made it in life.

I’m gonna play m+
There will be a lot of people online.
Trust me i never saw this game empty during 24,25,26

Dont celebrate xmas so it’s just another normal day to me.
If i feel like playing i will just like any other day

I’m surprised people treat Christmas like it’s something so special. I mean, as a kid, sure. Christmas was the highlight of the year then. But as an adult? It’s just eat some dinner, exchange a gift or two, get annoyed at crowds everywhere, do your best not to get ā€œWhammy!'dā€ for a whole month, but that’s like… it. It’s mostly a day like any other.

Just to be clear, I’m not trying to tell anyone how they should or shouldn’t celebrate Christmas, or that they shouldn’t enjoy it if they do or whatever. I’m just expressing my bewilderment. If you care, merry Christmas and if you don’t, well… let’s hope summer comes soon haha.

Christmas is just another day for me, so it wouldn’t stop me from doing things I normally do.

Probably fish if it’s quiet.

I will play because I will not have much else to do. Will slowly explore Dragon Isles and see if I can get into LFR.
