In case anyone missed these. These are gladiator level players losing games because of no defensive tools. No defense tools at all. Trust me, they are way beyond your and my own level. Everything you can think off to get out of these situations they have tried and more.
I know they are affliction and not destruction right now but it enhances the fact that warlock is !@#$ atm because affliction is stronger than destro atm. Everything affliction fails in arena wise, destruction fails even more.
So unless your guide is meant to help people get to 1300 rating, i`m afraid its a waste of time. Apart from that, credits to the nice layout and structure of the guide :)
Seems like you forgot to check OP current rating, when played well destro is 100% viable for gladiator and even rank1.

I know warlock is dogsh*t in general, but the real question Id like to get answered is "Whats the chance of getting somewhere without being carried by multi r1 mage/team playing to its full potential?" Because while the guide is great, something tells me that theres a huge viability gap between average 2200 ppl and this.

Maybe if you put as much effort into improving instead of writing this useless post you'd finally break above 1.5k xp.
Some people are too thick to realize how useful the information given in this thread is to the majority of the warlock players here.

I never denied it is useful information. Actually i congratulated OP for making a well thought out and structured guide. Following his guide however results in 1300 rating more or less. A great post like this deserves more than that. But that is reality in fact.
Now yes, if you are gods gift itself and be as good as the people in the links i provided, they get roflstomped by melee trains around 2k. We are talking about rank1 people here. Even talking about personal experience from myself, i faced some RBG (rbg means a whole lot more peels compared to arena) teams at 1600 mmr and a couple at 2000 mmr. While expected, at 2k mmr they just tunnel the warlock no matter how much the other 9 people are peeling for you. There is nothing we can do about it.

We all agree that affliction and destruction are too squishy, but being unable to climb has nothing to do with your class/spec, any spec in the game can get above 2k ( even tank specs) with the quirkiest comps.
Sure it might be harder to climb as a lock than other classes, but you only really start to see the flaws in design near gladiator rating ( where people know how to counter cds and rotate properly), what I'm trying to say here is that you can get to 2k as lock if you get better, even though locks are subpar at the moment.
What you also don't seem to realize is how many multi-R1s and multi-glads are present and posting in this thread, some of which are better than the people you linked as reference, I highly suggest you check up on people's exp and cr before placing everyone here at a 1.5k xp level.

I know, but if your mom, your friends, your lady down from the street are all driving around in Ferrari`s, Porsche`s and Rolls Royces why bother to buy a Lada and follow a guide for it to drive well? Seems rather wasteful to me.
It's a good guide and most of this stuff I do as well, I only use a slightly different gearing strategy. There are enough threads to complain about the class, so maybe keep this one clear for questions etc.
