Distantpeak reminded me of this doll I made of Runas Starwhisper (my friend) last year. It was my first ever attempt at handmaking a BJD so it’s not exactly perfect

Fun fact, I mistakenly recalled that white lilies symbolize sorrow and sadness, but they instead usually represent purity, renewal and rebirth. I then just added her signature flower (white orchid) and lily of the valley, the latter of which in some cases symbolizes sadness and pain.

Consistent art style? Idk what that is, I’m all over the place.
A poster made for a Lunar Festival / Lunar New Year themed art prompt on social media. Acrona wouldn’t don a design like this IC because of her relationship with Elune gone awry, but I wanted to have some design fun with the theme! Was inspirared both by Asian art styles and symbolic tarot card designs.
I plan to do more 2D animated stuff this year, and delve more into capturing body movement. As I was looking up some Lunar New Year stuff on Youtube, saw some charming Chinese & Korean dance videos with long sleeves, shawls etc. It inspired me draw Acrona twirling below!
