[ASAP] Azeroth Salvaging and Procurement - Seeking Out Curiosities

As we see in the wake of war, our actions have served as a tool of progression and depletion, used by us, against us, the mortal races of this universe. It is the source that feeds into belief, survival and power. For decades we have seen war among the Alliance and Horde, war among ourselves, and war away from home. We’ve seen many fall and many rise, many to reach for their goal and shape their choices for their own good, or their people. The Alliance and Horde have experienced heavy tolls of loss. In the wake of war, the field, even the people, suffer. War doesn’t survive without the veins of life carrying it forward - war does not sustain itself, nor does peace.

Supply and support, we are part of the veins of Azeroth. We are part of the arm that reaches out towards the foes, we lead the fists of victory towards the flanks of any foe that opposes the territories of our field. Resources are the lifeblood of the Alliance, as our forces reach out to take down their enemies, we’ll be on the backlines supplying the soldiers with the tools needed for victory. In the path of our force’s advance, or retreat, we will retrieve what might be lost, or can be reused to further our goals.

Alliance Salvaging and Procurement is a contracted outfit sourced under the united administration of the Alliance, as well as its allies. We’ve welcomed the tasks to retrieve, reconstruct and reuse the resources and tools that serve as a benefit to the people of Azeroth. We seek out the warzones during and after to retrieve what we see fit to serve the right outcome.

Process and Authority, the members of A.S.A.P will follow their own command and protocol until they are requested in the field by mission briefing or demand, then they’ll serve under the control of the military command in charge. Noble titles and procured titles of heroic actions do not hold any authority over the members of the outfit and its administration.

(OOC:Alliance Salvaging is a guild operated on the factor that not everyone can be part of the military. There is a need, and a place for the civilians, craftsmen and workforce. A guild created to support the community with another stage of role play to give people a chance to see another page than just war. We of course do support that of RPpvp and Unrestricted PvP but this project is also connected to that of PvE events. ASAP isn’t a military guild but holds ties with that of military role play.

Alliance Salvaging has advanced itself to be a Cross-Faction Roleplaying guild centered around the industrial/civilian section of war.

The guild awakened as a project in 2017 but the idea is even older, it is aiming to be a permanent member of the Argent Dawn community. The current guild leader is with over a two and a half decades of role play experience from universes like that of Warcraft and D&D)

Requirements for recruitment: The Alliance Salvaging and Procurement are seeking able men and women who can hold their passion for their field of adventure. Are you strong enough to haul yourself? Are you holding experience for the field, or wish to achieve more? Do you hold a trade or just an affinity for finding the gem among the rocks? Then you are welcomed to seek out a member of the ASAP administration.

(OOC: Requirements: minimum level 15. Professions isn’t a must but always welcomed as the guild is about the adventure, and industrial touch)

Ranks and roles of the Alliance Salvaging and Procurement: Director: The administrator in charge of the Alliance Salvaging and Procurement. This position is currently held by Jeremy S. Lochton, also benefactor of the company in question. There is no command above this position, though in the field of war, the Director will be cooperating with the military command when in the field.

Administrator: An administrative position in the ASAP is like the officers position at the military, you are to stand to take command from the director as well as facilitate yourself and your abilities in the field. This’ll lead to cooperation among the ranks below for missions, training sessions or service. You report to the Director but if you are in the field, the Field Safety.

Team Leader: is the management title for the missions, trades, transports and deals that are to undergo in our business. You hold a command of a designated project or contract. Ranking above Salvagers, Field Safety, Contracted, Trader, and the civilian members. On the field of war, you are reporting to the Director, the Field Safety and the military command.

Field Safety: As we progress into the wide world that we call home, some of us need protection against the challenges we are to oppose. Even as a salvager, work hand or civilian, the world can be dangerous, and that is where we are in need of the Field Safety unit. As Field Safety, you are to either take a sentry position and watch over the missions, or stand available for medical needs. You are under the command of the Team Leader, the Director and the Administration, though in the field of war, Military Command will be first in charge before the administration as long as this does not endanger agents of the ASAP.

Researcher: A specialized member of ASAP, the Researcher is a given title for their work in gathering information, or identifying items of interest, or the possible connection behind it. You are a trained member of the unit and able to fulfill your tasks to haul back the knowledge to further secure the investments safely. You follow the command of any Lead role, as well as the administration, Director and the military command when in a warzone.

Salvager: A specialized member of ASAP, the Salvager is a given title for their field work of salvaging, procurement and freight. You are a trained member of the unit and able to fulfill your tasks to haul back the investment safely. You follow the command of any Lead role, as well as the administration, Director and the Military Command when in a warzone.

Trader: You hold a trade at heart, be it cooking, sewing, tanning or even engineering. The ASAP is welcoming the specialized trade of the market that can serve as a good tool in supplying the people, and the armies of Azeroth. You are under the command of the lead roles, as well as the administration, Director and on the field of war, the Military Command.

Contracted: For newly contracted members of ASAP, you are signing a contract to agree that you are willing to supply your own specialized toolset in advancing ASAP, or the methods of which we can support, supply, or procure the means of assisting the people of Azeroth.

Base of operations - we are currently looking for more properties to facilitate the most recent expansion of ASAP, currently:

The head office is located at the Stormwind City Harbour as we take full use of the access and open area for storage and workshops. We hold a strong location for a quick response. In the field we fall to the procedures of the ASAP and hold a reduced amount of administrative documents and holdings.

Tools of the trade: The Alliance Salvaging and Procurement holds an appropriate fleet of aerial transportation, thanks to a generous cooperation of multiple skilled engineers and blacksmiths. In our hold of resources and abilities, we have seen ourselves fit to also make use of the following means of transportation of freight, as well as manpower.

Grand Mammoths (OOC:Traveler’s Tundra Mammoth/Grand Black War Mammoth/Grand Ice Mammoth) - A common tool in the transportation of large amounts of freight across open terrain. This delightful creature has been an acquired tool from the northern lands, Northrend. It has been outfitted with leather reins and strappings to make it able to haul cargo over a greater distance.

Gyrocopters (OOC: Flying Machine) - A creation of marvelous engineering that offers the ASAP the ability to transport light cargo to the warzone and back. As well as the ability to reach out to remote locations. These units were constructed in the cooperation of the Tinkers Union, as well as the Engineers of Ironforge. The aerial unit is outfitted with a carrier harness.

Cargo-Haulers (OOC: Stormwind Skychaser) - A compact aerial transport for freight of heavy cargo as well as additional manpower. This unit has been a marvel of an idea brewed from the minds of Stormwind, and the Alliance engineers. It is outfitted with a carrier harness for heavy freight to the warzone as well as dense/overgrown areas. It holds the capacity of an additional member as a passenger, either security detail or support.

Gryphons (OOC: Any gryphon mount of selection) - As part of the Alliance, we have seen ourselves gifted with personal transportation in the form of the Gryphons. Each beast raised and handled by specialized members of the Alliance, and offered for service in the field. We are currently still awaiting safety regulations upon the creatures known as Wyvern, or even the more Draconic means of bestial transportation.

Ships - We hold no vessels at our charge but the ASAP does make contracts with other vessels for ocean transportation but tend to rely on the schools of magic if it proves safer.

Though, do not forget the most important tool in the field - YOU! The agent in the field will be the strongest tool to offer. We suggest you of course familiarize yourself with the common tools of your selected trade - and perhaps be sure to have a spare knife and a light source

Mission attire and uniform:
Here at ASAP, we do not follow any general dress code as long as it doesn’t prevent an agent from fulfilling their duty. We suggest that you are not dressed too flashy or appear non-professional. We do expect you to carry a tabard with ASAP’s official colors for when we are in the field to ensure that you may be able to be identified.

Alliances, contracts and partnerships:
Alliance Salvaging and Procurement holds currently close content with an allied initiative connecting with: Highland Warriors. The Aquila Company. The Iscaria.

Field Report:

We have been contracted for salvaging and retrieval at the battles in the north. Serving the Alliance and its people, we have taken our advantage to claim lost items as well as abandoned resources from both Horde, and Alliance.

With average intervals, we have chosen to secure goods before becoming a target for enemy forces, or hostile looters.

The current battle has seen great advancement but by our records are only living on what they can haul, or scavenge themselves. We have taken our part of duty to supply to some groups of members who has complied to our terms and duty.

Current location: Fenris Isle, Silverpine Forest.
Mission category: Salvaging and reclamation.
(Event: Drums of War)
This sounds fun, consider me interested!
Yep, they work with the Nightfall Brigade a lot, since we are usually out doing Rp pvP or just some RP PvE combat. Good guys, all in all.
This curious Pandaren is always looking to find artifacts, gems, tools and stuffs to learn about and maybe repurpose it. Consider him interested.

My apologies for the silent moment. The dawn of leveling has happened, and the battle is soon over for me and I'll return in attempt to structure up. I have already a few things on the table to run.
Office Report:

We have been tied down for the past few weeks. Tasks has been piled upon the workforce of dock men and clerks in handling of the loss that the Alliance have suffered during our strike upon Lordaeron's ruins, Undercity.

Causalities have been counted high, and not everyone have been able to be identified. As well, countless members of the Alliance forces, as well as units from outside the main forces has been registered as MIA (Missing in Action).

As I file this report, I am bound for another venture on one of the Alliance vessels as the trading routes to Kul Tiras is to be opened up once more.

Location: The Yard, Stormwind City Harbour, Stormwind City.

Signed,

Director Jeremy S. Lochton.
Great concept and nice to meet a fellow salvager. Do swing by my office in Mariner's Row if you ever think about sending your salvaging crews to Kul Tiras.

Thank you.

Once we arriving at Kul Tiras, we will take a gander at the sights.
Field Report:

After reports have been confirmed of a more open cooperation between the Kul Tiran unions and the Alliance, we have taken the opportunity to utilize the connections of the magi portals, as well as the ship routes that have been established.

Survey and reconnocense is being taken to calculate a possible usage of resources, as well as reclaiming wreckage in the name of Kul Tiras, as well as claiming abandoned equipment of the Alliance and Horde forces.

Location: En route to Boralus, Kul Tiras.

Signed,

Director Jeremy S. Lochton
Administrative Office Report (AOR):

The troops of the Alliance are inbound for a greater campaign against the members of the Horde factions. Resupply and resources have been scarce but prepared for the impending strike.

Survey proved profitable for A.S.A.P though at a high cost of manpower. Recruitment and enhancement will be needed to bolster the ranks for future endeavours and developments.

Expense note: Currently owing the Proudmoore Admiralty for destruction of public property in the city of Boralus due to a miscalculated portal.

Location: City of Boralus

Signed,

Director Jeremy S. Lochton
Field Report; Zandalar War camapign (Strike at the heart).

Salvaged one Goblin Shredder. The unit is going to get a little overhaul, and a paint job to prevent the Alliance forces from striking it down. Marvelous tool to acquire on a campaign where heavy equipment were not planned. The shredder itself by report of our mechanic seem to need some minor fixes as well as some adjustments so that it may be operated by anyone.

Personal belongings found within the Goblin shredder has been boxed up and sent for storage at the Yard, Stormwind City. Perhaps some profit can be found in it after this.

Location: Vol'dun.

Signed,

Director Jeremy S. Lochton

Administrative Office Report (AOR):

The ASAP has experience some undesired downtime in the gale of past events. With low staff holding, we have decided to reinstate our original business plan once more, and return to the service of the Alliance.

Various procured and restored items has been sold or repurposed to open up new contacts in connection with our service.

As of the moment, Alliance Salvaging And Procurement is once more recruiting.

Director Jeremy S. Lochton

Welcome to the people of Kul Tiras!

Administrative Office Report (AOR):

Life has come to the docks of Stormwind City as we welcome back Jaina Proudmore, by the title of Lord Admiral, and her people of Kul Tiras - as they join the Alliance.

The High King seemed rather excited about their gift for him, a marvelous piece of art, a ship formed by the artistical mind of a seasoned Shipwright and her bond to the elements - a ballet, I believe one described it. I envy them. Upon the first chance, I shall seek permission to inspect this vessel - or gain further knowledge of it.

The Outriggers, just a small group of the Kul Tiran people, joined for the journey to lend their aid on other flanks as the Alliance prepares for the next move.

Already now I see the ladies of the night cheer at the brawny, burly men - and women, who set foot on the docks today. These are in for a new way of living.

Note: Setup recruitment process for the Kul Tiran.

Location: The Yard, Stormwind City Harbour, Stormwind City.

Signed

Director Jeremy S. Lochton

Alliance Salvaging And Procurement has been deployed to support in the northern regions!

Field Report; The Silverpine Offensive.

Heeding open field request to assess and assist the furthering of the Alliance troops at the campaign in the northern regions. ASAP shipping supplies and will be on site for salvaging orders.

Note to ‘The Yard’: Salvaged Shredder still field operational though seem to, as most Goblin Technology, to fall apart.

Location: South Border, Arathi Highlands.
Destination: Keel Harbour, Gilneas.

Signed,

Director Jeremy S. Lochton

And so the Alliance Salvaging And Procurement unit has returned home to ‘The Yard’.
