It is so liberating.
I don’t know why they force us to be on the ground for 8 months. I can say for certain that it would improve players impression of the game if it was there ar max level at launch.

It’s much more engaging to be able to fly your own character. Flight paths just make me look at my other monitor or go make a drink etc.
