"They claim they are Immortal! We must prove they are not"-GGG Ez Clap
I thought their stocks dropped because there are discussions about stricter regulations for mobile gaming in China, so announcing that they they would focus more on mobile gaming would be pretty bad.
That wouldn't help, but they quarterly reports show something else going on as well, the loss of active users is pretty large, and cross platform, that cannot be helping.14/11/2018 08:54Posted by TheokI thought their stocks dropped because there are discussions about stricter regulations for mobile gaming in China, so announcing that they they would focus more on mobile gaming would be pretty bad.
"Treat others as the way you want to be treated".
Blizzard deserves this, they have treated their customers as crap for years and now perhaps it will come back to them.

Giving us a Legion 0.5 and Diablo Immortal?
I want this game to stay afloat, but god damn. Listen to players. Heck, even WoD was better than this many ways.
Good riddance.
You do know that there is a big sell off in tech stocks going on at the moment?
And in all likelihood this has nothing to do with WoW?
Right, sure you knew. Just checking.
My bet is on falling user numbers, MAU is down 40 million since last year, Destiny 2 is a dumpster fire, then Diablo Immortal's reveal was...unpopular? Yea that'd do it.14/11/2018 10:11Posted by Bedezee13/11/2018 19:16Posted by Heddahttps://finance.yahoo.com/quote/ATVI/?guccounter=1

Clear to me a lot of people on the forums have no idea of the complexity of the stock exchange and make assumptions that this is all connected to the failed launch at Blizzcon. Please stop making these threads it's cringe worthy seeing so called arm chair experts who now think they understand how complex money systems like stock exchanges work when it is more likely than not the issues that are going on are NOTHING to do with a poorly received mobile game that was stupidly shown to the wrong crowd at a company gathering.
It MIGHT have had some effect but this issue with the shares in ALL companies not just the Tech ones or Gaming ones has been going on for some considerable time.
There are all sorts of considerations when it comes to the ups and downs of all stock exchanges across the world including political standing the policy's of the US with Trump in office has mean there is alarm over protectionist measures he has taken in the last two years and thus some share holders want to probably move money out of the US and companies they felt where a safe bet so that if or when he turns his eyes towards the stock markets the hard cash they have is elsewhere.
That is just one example I could go into a whole myriad of things that also can reflect back on the prices of shares which have nothing to do with the ill thought out comments and gleeful "We proved a point they are losing money because they do not listen" detractors who seem to think that a poorly received mobile game was the sudden cause of Blizzard Activision having share issues. It's not that simple it never has been or will be.
Would be nice to see this kind of rubbish guess working being taken as fact when it clearly is NOT!
Keeping on topic so please don't make assumptions about my views on this as being bias they are far from it!

And it just, keeps, dropping...
Hey, i'd love also expres my feelings about BFA, and they're not good at all.
First of all, leveling i find quite intresesting as i always like to see new stuff. But on the other hand, the leveling process was interupted by Terible class design, literally all the classes at current state are really boring. Honestly, i prefered much more boomking from WoD or the affliction Warlock over these in BFA. They seem flat, poor, boring, nothing really unique about them.
Other stuff in BFA ? The content. Curently, i am just loggin in to game on wed/sun to do raids, NOTHING MORE. The WQs are freaking boring, the rewards are so poor, don't feel like i am getting anything good from them. M+ is so insane to do, to find a group. All because i haven't ''care'' about my raider.io page. How did we get to the place when you can't literally join a group, run a dungeon and then share the loot ? It happens so often that somebody just leaving the freaking group after single wipe... ON LAST BOSS. I know that blizzard is not to blame for that here, but Us, the community. We have become so disconnected from each other, threating people around us like nobody. This is our doing by all mean. But that also not justify the poor content of the game. I am not even running alts (i had them like 10 in WoD and 13 in Legion), because they are boring to me. Its just the same S*&T as other classes.
This is my POV over BFA atm, and my sub ends in 14d. It is shame that i won't extend this any further, but i am not goin to spend 13Euro p/m just to do 2 days raiding.
Sorry blizz, you f%*&^d up the potential.

13/11/2018 20:03Posted by Trelw@All: According to CNN business news I have seen, companies like Apple and other tech stocks are going down hard, too. So the stock market is doing its' own thing and we should not read too much into individual stocks, when the general trend is downwards.
No, Diablo Immortal has brought down the American economy. Why didn't Blizzard listen.
It's the end....
Clearly makes more sense that a bad day on the stock market. Silly.
