You’re 100% right. They might. Even if its stupid. But you recommend them to. I dont, that’s the difference.
Oh, love, I sure will. It’s getting added soon.
Surely it will be!
I mean it would be fair towards the majority of the community who do not use “tricks” to stay online. They should either take the lane of actually informing people how to stay online to avoid queues, fix the underlying issue or punish people for using these “tricks”.
And in the meantime ban everyone who isn’t defending towers, right? Because that’s why you got banned and that’s why you’re trolling, right?
The fact you are comparing playing pvp objective to trying to find ways to abuse Blizzards systems makes me chuckle
Just like your amazing brilliance compared Anti-AFK in a city to avoid queues as Anti-AFK in BGs, right? Pathetic.
P.S.: None of this is abusing anything. The game is programmed to work with this file.
P.S.: I’ve ignored your replies.
I guess that was a straight up lie, I wonder if any credibility should be given to any of your stuff either.
This little magical device would have stopped all this missfortune and anger from ever happening in the first place…hmmmm…where’s Chromie
You think it´s a good idea to write you e-mail and PW in a text file?
And you disable an acount security check.
Yes sounds like a good idea.
You surley wont get your acount stolen go for it.
My Gnome machine would never do such a thing! Its created to protect not do harm or steal things! Thats goblin engineering!
I assume you are replying to OP and not me
oh yes true sry must have missclicked
So how would you actually logout with this, when you are going to bed or work?
This is actually very true too lol. Also imagine Blizzard not caring a single duck as they find out how you got your account stolen. Would kinda hit hard.
Alt+F4.
@Obimaru you are not disabling the Authenticator. It is still enabled. It will ask you to enter the code only when you start the game, not every time you get disconnected. Nice conspiracy theory tho’. It was almost plausible.
P.S.: Do you have viruses on your PC? Are you worried a hacker will find the .txt file? Get an antivirus.
P.S.2: Even if someone finds out your password, your Authenticator is still ACTIVE. They will need the code.
Using external software to automate inputs can get you banned.
Under section C paragraph ii subparagraph 3 of the eula.
“bots; i.e. any code and/or software, not expressly authorized by Blizzard, that allows the automated control of a Game, or any other feature of the Platform, e.g. the automated control of a character in a Game;”
And you post in and off it self can get you banned as well from a little bit above.
"Cheating: Create, use, offer, promote, advertise, make available and/or distribute the following or assist therein: "
@Cupìd
OK. But an auto-clicker won’t get you banned unless someone reports you and a GM manually inspects you as the anti-cheat cannot detect it. With that being said, the main post has already been edited to exclude any auto-clickers. Thanks for the input.

@Bafago Yes, this sounds 100% possible with that .txt file as it does not require any login credentials input or pressing “Play” in Battle.Net.
However, even without any scheduling, your laptop will not be stressed - you don’t even get logged into your character. You only remain at the character select screen. This is using very little resources.
That’s the problem. The login screen with Icecrown snowing and Sindragosa flying here and there is enough to get my GPU fans to run at full speed. I want to avoid that.
