Hmmm, i think you are right. Never checked this tbh after i returned a few months ago. Apparently they fixed icicles damage to not double dip on damage buffs. They scaled up Glacial’s raw damage instead to compensate.

It’s very viable, it will always stay up for a second or two, just time it at the end of the glacial cast. It’s stronger than flurry in dungeons (on mobs that can be frozen) as it shatters your target and the split glacial on another mob.

Again, correct. I feel stupid that i never thought of that . Well i guess thats why you should always share thoughts on forums. You always find something that you did wrong all the time.

By the way, after 27 runs on Waycrest Manor, i finally got my trinket

Its a 450ilvl one from +7 ofc but still, i hope when masterfull 3 comes out i will be able to get to at least over 50% mastery.

While you are correct on paper, you forget that mastery corruption completely changes how secondary stats (and in this case Mastery Rating) weights. On paper, intellect (procs or raw stat) is always better, but in reallity mastery, after a certain value on your intellect rating, becomes more important because icicle damage double dips on mastery.

I didn’t forget that, i specifically said that you had to apply these numbers, as they are the raw numbers you receive, to your own character and weights, which are affected by your corruption.
And no on paper intellect is not better, hasn’t been since uldir.

Every GS must be followed by a brain freeze proc.

This is definitely not correct anymore. Checked a bunch of top logs, and a vast majority of them cast GS whenever they can rather than fishing for brain freeze, which used to be the playstyle.

I dont understand how you came to the conclusion that Lucid dreams will get you to a point where you can cast GS without BF.

Because when you have lucid major, you get a GS every 2-3 frostbolts, but a brain freeze every 5 frostbolts on average, so you would basically be wasting 1 entire GS on average to give one extra crit, which definitely does not seem worth it.
And my speculation seem to be spot on based on top logs.
