That’s funny how some people are dividing WoW players in 2 factions : “retail people, the plague, they destroyed the game with their wishes and requests” and the classic people, who really knows what is WoW, its purity is sacred and absolutely nothing from the first version should be modified !"
Come on man, some changes are welcome to improve the game, and the dev themselves said that SoD is the ground for test and experimentations.
-Flying mounts ? Come on, even if people ask I don’t think they will add it, classic Azeroth wasn’t made for.
-Premade off ? Read carefully whats they said about the matchmaking premades, is basically to balance better and help solo players to face smaller premade and incite them to join premade.
-Arena ? Why not ? Arena was great, I think testing it in classic could be nice to try, but is it doable ? I dunno.
-New races ? Let people dreaming, sounds impossible and I don’t think it’s in their plans for SoD.
-New classes ? It would mean adding the news classes they added in later expansions, so more balance patchs and work, don’t seem possible.
There’s difference between what people wants and ask, and what’s possible to do.
I don’t get how adding a Barber shop will lead to flying mount and new races honestly.
Adding little QoL such as barber isn’t bad for the game, on contrary. Especially this one which is the less invasive in the game.
I would agree only with changes that resemble real life. For ex.: You can only cut your hair once a month and can’t alter face appearance at all. There is no plastic surgery in Azeroth.

New races, classes, why not, as long as they don’t over buff everything so the world becomes obsolete like in retail.

Bro, I spent more time in vanilla/vanilla classic AB than I spent with my family. You know exactly as well as I do that change that making more likely to face premade as a premade and pug as a pug is good for the game, and it is good for the PVP. For only one thing, it is not that good, and that is farming rep/honor as a premade if you don’t care for PVP, fun or anything. Only for getting as much rep/honor per hour as possible, in the easiest and lamest way possible.
We are talking about haircuts. Do you have the same haircut for your whole life? There could be a CD or some qst for mats on it, so you cannot do it very often, but harm to the game is nonexistent. You are just overdramatic.

If you get bored of the way your character looks you need to just uninstall tiktok, throw out your second monitor, redevelop an attention span and make the right choices in creation before investing time into your character.

Believe it or not, this game was once an MMORPG where characters are supposed to be recognizable.
Its your problem you cant make permanent decisions, not anyone elses. Theres only 5 rows of customization options and they have been out for 20 years.

I really don’t get why having a barber shop in wow classic upset some people. Recognizable character ? yes but with gears on top, only the player will really see a difference, other will maybe notice “oh new haircut”, but nah "DAMN WHO IS THIS PLAYER ? A GUILD MATE ? I CAN’T RECOGNIZE HIM NOW)
