I think the Razer Naga is the best, it’s just not very well made so typically doesn’t last. Maybe the newest version with optical switches is better, not tried it. I tried the Logitech Naga version for about 2 months when my last Naga died and didn’t like it, numpad felt squidgy and never got used to that 3rd side click on the grip.
In the end you just gotta try a few and see what you prefer, my whole gameplay style is built around the Naga, I bought it when it first came out in 2009 and have used one since.
Razer Naga Trinity or Logitech G502, I use both and both are amazing. I like the scroll and weights in the Logitech, but Naga has some of the best side buttons, I never missclick.
After the laser died in my Roccat Nyth I tried a few difference mice. I ended up settling on a Logitech g502 due to the size, weight, and button layout. However, too much gaming (particularly Human Fall Flat) killed the microswitch for the left mouse button in a little over two years. Despite this, I did buy a second one as I do think it is a good mouse for its current price (around 40€).
I use the G502 in my right hand, though occasionally I switch to a G902 in my left. I use Piper on Linux to manage the mouse, I don’t know what it can do in Windows.
Either way, I recommend both. They’re very good. I use mouse wheel tilt for tab-targeting so I basically can’t do with anything else.
I should mention that I’m on my second G502. The first one lasted almost 6 years.
Tried two other mice but gave them away and settled with a G502 hero. Which is on sale very often. 45 instead of 60€ noice
See, that’s my favorite part, having a lot to press on the keyboard. Might have something to do with being a guitarist and using my left hand on the fretboard. There’s just something so satisfying about it for me and you only really get that with mmos, esp. WoW and its pvp, as there is a crapton of keybinds on classes like druid or shaman.
Oh, Ozgool, I just remembered I had a nicer Logitech way back with those weights and stuff, it was awesome. Basically Logitech has always been a reliable experience, I wouldn’t even bother looking elsewhere personally.
Indeed I did absolutely love my mx518 I had it from 2001-2010. Best mouse ever! After that did I buy a G5 mouse with weights. And it was freaking awesome!
You 2! I do also play guitar both acoustic and electric.
Oh yeah, that’s exactly the one I had but then I didn’t game much for years and eventually moved over to Apple until quite recently. I’m still mostly in the Apple ecosystem though.
G502 noisiest Mouse on the market - still no one can design a quiet wired mouse - no click clicksss. Just seen a cheap one, G203 - if it clicks I’ll donate it.

Now I only have MacBook Air (work) and my iPhone. I sold everything else and built myself a “better” computer and bought a ps5 as entertainment station.
Also a guitarist, been playing since I was 14 (36 now), currently running a Tele into a Line 6 Helix for the most part. FWIW I use the keyboard and the Razer. In WOTLK I figured that binding Heroic Strike to the other hand would free up my left hand so I could handle Heroic Strike independently to my normal rotation.
So I have Bloodthirst, Whirlwind, Execute, Pummel, Taunt, Berserker Rage, Slam, Sunder Armor, DPSPotion, Hamstring, tab targetting, strafe movement + a few more on the keyboard. On the mouse then I have charge/intercept/intervene, bloodrage, battle shout, disarm, fear, major cooldowns, on use trinkets, mount up, potion/healthstone etc etc on the mouse numpad etc.
That way I’ve equally divided things between the two hands so movement and mouse turning and all abilities can be used without tripping myself up or overwhelming either hand.
Ahh a Tele man, fine taste!
I mainly use a Jim Root squier tele with an orange micro terror, saving up for a Squier contemporary strat with a floyd rose whammy on it.
[sorry for going off topic OP]
I used to religiously use an MMO mouse (razer) and then when it was dying i decided to just buy a “normal” gaming mouse and change up my keybinds, didnt take long to get used to it, and its actually far better than an MMO mouse.
The only thing the mmo mouse was better for was lazy play, in non comp environments i could play one handed no problem but other than that a 5+ button mouse with better keybinds has proven far better
