I always thought this is what the alliance players wanted. I was originally playing alliance and couldn't stand the blandness. Now looking at BfA they get a third boring human race to play, not even something exotic, just european style humans again. Horde get incan style trolls. Kultiras is also incredibly boring to me, it's just the typical european fantasy setting with wolves and deer attacking you for no reason, horde has a junge, a desert and a swamp with all kinds of monsters, dinosaurs with lasers, fox- and snake-people etc.
Horses seem to fit the rest of the bland alliance style. But this is coming from somewhere, right? Someone must like this style because it's not just random, it's designed for some target audience, and it's been that way since this game started. I mean, people seem to be excited about yet another bland human race, and there are cries for another bland elven race all over these forums, so why shouldn't blizzard think they want another bland horse mount to come with it? People want generic fantasy and it seems that's what they are getting here.

Except lots of people are sick and tired of yet another bloody horse also there is no excuse to always go on a easy road and make every bit of content always human crap on alliance side when there are lots of other races too.
I think its time to give the leadership of alliance to some other race humans are just bland knight in a shining armor crap especially when you look at stormwind humans.

I just really hope we get a mount raising questline too at some point. I love those quests, some of my best memories in this game are from raising my first cloud serpent.
In bfa horde got that pterrordax egg that they hatch and raise into a mount but alliance didn't get anything similar sadly. So many missed opportunities imo, could have been a wickerbeast or something.

If alliance wouldnt be this bad I would already have already faction changed to a human just for the horse mounts. I hate those random horde mounts.
i agree with this - its very sad that alliance gets three horses but i think better days are coming for ally players - mount wise. You are getting the white vicious saber which is imo the best mount ever created in-game. Also, i saw the priestess(?) moonsaber from a new vendor being added in 8.1 which i think its only for alliance. Hope this will help.
yeah it is kind of !@#$ty that the more easly obtenible mounts by standard rep grinding (which most people should have by this point) for alliance are all horses, followed by the allied race mount being a horse.

I felt the same about horses when they made the paladin class hall mount a Horse. Worst thing must be being a human paladin, horses up the wazoo.

Last time i checked they have an option called gryphons but we still get a horse recolor. On the other hand , ally zones has many unique models and ideas can be produced from the lore. We have witches , old gods and sailor themes in kul tiras. They could give us a ship for proudmoore rep maybe a broom for drustvar rep (like the halloween event one) or maybe something related to old gods for stormsong( idk maybe some corrupted bird). It just feels like they designed the horde ones first then they run out of money and gave us reskins.
