Useless stuff on discount and discounts are too low. 15%!?!?!? as minimum and 50% (pfff) as best deal (pfff).
It should be 50-90%

Pretty trash deal for current players, as per usual. You can still get keys cheaper, and shop price is cheaper. So all you get is the “privilege” of buying straight off blizz for more?
And why not services cheaper? The only reason from a business perspective, is a loss of subs from people finishing content quicker?

It’s very unlikely they’d discount a new expansion before it’s even out.
It’s a shame, because then more people would buy it. I’m pretty sure that most people who play WoW or are interested in it already have BfA.

I think it’s more of interest to Classic refugees or people who have come back to give the expansion a whirl.
Existing players are more likely to want sales on services.
That’s fair. Still wish they’d given us either a Shadowlands discount or character services discount though.

Hope they put some services on sale soon tho. Need to transfer about 8 characters, but I’m too cheap to pay 200 euro’s.
I’m hoping we get them with 8.3 like last time they brought in Allied races.
I briefly considering buying the items. I can easily afford 3x7.50, no problem.
But then I thought about it. What am I ACTUALLY getting for those 22.50?
I don’t play Hearthstone, Heroes or Overwatch, so those items are basically useless to me.
I haven’t logged in and played D3 or SC2 in a long time. And even when I do, the portrait or transmog I am using is irrelevant to me. So they would be useless too.
That leaves Wow…
For WoD, I would get a mount and a pet. I already have plenty of both and don’t think I would actually use them. The raven model is too big and I already have that green version from Tanaan I rarely use, so that’s not going to happen.
For Legion it looks like I would get a felstalker mount, but I don’t even use the felsaber my DH has.
And for BfA, sure, there’s two mounts, yay, BUT… Rhere’s the Alliance horse… ANOTHER horse? I literally have 22 horses already and I haven’t even bothered wasting money on the rep ones from BfA, even though they’re sort of cheap.
All in all, I would be foolish to buy that stuff, even at the discounted price. I won’t be using any of it enough to justify the price. And no, I’m not a collector that cares about the achievements.
There is a good possibility we get character service discount with the launch of vulpera in 8.3. thoe.

As an excuse to call out blizzard, as an excuse to buy new accounts to get the RAF tmog and as an excuse to be outraged.
P.S : if anyone wants to start a new account using this I’ll buy you 3 free months if you RAF with me and buy 6 months game .
Puny you kept your promise when I asked is there going to be any discounts for wow and like godsend you informed us so thank you I will be able to buy bfa for us region now

There’s nothing of any interest to me in the sale, sadly. There are one or maybe two things that look mildly interesting but I don’t want or need items for Diablo, Hearthstone, etc., so I won’t even bother with those.

if they put the new exp on discount after their blizzcon sale i would be so pissed … they could’ve at least waited to put item on sale on BF if it were. Glad they didn’t tbh wouldn’t help their reputation

I unsubbed because I’m done with grinding (65 hours left of gametime). Then i saw subs were discounted, and i was tempted to resub. But i am not eligible to get the sub discount. Only new players are somehow privileged enough to get that sweet discount. So i stay unsubbed. These deals are weak for loyal customers and Blizzard is clearly only caring about brand new players. What a shame.
Yeah gaming companies in general do not make discounts for newely announced/released games.
But character services is in such high demand and effort-free (website+server AI does all the job for Blizzard), i do not understand why they wont let it happen. 
it could literally give them so much free money while their server robots take care of character transfers, faction change, etc.
