To the OP, its not going to happen. And Ive seen plenty here on the forums interested in mechagnomes. Just because you dont like them, it doesnt mean everyone else must not like them either.

I know there are a few people will play them yea, I said their numbers will be under 1% of Alliance playerbase. And Sethrak is trash as well, yea. This is not the first Allied Race that is coming out btw, I never complained about the preceding ones nor created a topic with the intent of criticizing them. This is just too bad to preserve my silence. I don’t play Dark Iron Dwarf as well but I don’t say a word about them for example.
There is one important thing that you ignore or that you can’t see and realize. Void Elf is a reflection of the most popular World of Warcraft race Blood Elf. Who cares about development and story behind an Allied Race really. I don’t care personally, even if TrashGnomes had 10 years of development they are still TrashGnomes and they will most likely take their place among one of the least preferred races. There is no need to be a soothsayer to predict that.
Are you sure if Tyrande is the one that should be blamed? She is just a fictional character written by storywriter employees, the same inconsistent writers are the guilty not Tyrande. They are Horde fanatics tho, no big surprise.

A big build up for broken dreanei and them being void corrupted only for void elves to be added like " valeera is an elf so here are more dark elves that appearently were there all along and are happy about joining the alliance instead of the horde" absolutely trashy writing honestly

And you coniviently forget that Lightforged Draenei took the Draenei allied race slot. Horde wouldve cried bloody murder and alliance bias if Draenei got -two- allied races to their name.
I don’t like mechagnomes but, it’s kinda obvious they were going to be an allied race. And they make 100% sense to be an allied race. Void elves, on the other hand, really don’t have that much to justify them being in the alliance.
its simple, lightforged shouldnt have happened either. They are exactly the same as the existing dreanei race. besides the fact of having some tattoos that you will never see under your gear. oh and mustaches. Broken dreanei would have been a way better allied race than either void elves or the lightforged

And Blizzard added a lot more hideoptions for armor so you can display your extra markings.
Lightforged subrace happened and it fits well with the story, a branch of draenei different from the azeroth bound ones. Thusly they have their own identity and racials. They would never have worked as mere customization options.
So any race that isn’t playable has no lore, story, important chars etc.? Great I will tell the rolls dice dragons that. “Hey dragons? Because your race wasn’t playable you never got story or an important place in the lore!”
They would have worked perfectly by just adding passivly to ranks of the Draenei with a barbershop option to pick which side you wanted to represent. Velen taking the political, civialian and spiritual leadership while the Lightforged took over command of the military and security.
I do not agree, its far better to keep them seperate. and as I already said, allows them to have seperate starting zones and racials. It would be far too messy if your racials depended on the skin you chose.
Then youd have players QQing about why they couldnt have the other side’s racials with their prefered skin. Not to forget the mess of Lightforged having no business in the draenei starting zone.
Worst of the two allied races , yes as much as Vulpera are cute they just dont fit, I ptr tested they dont look good, so does those gnomes but they were bound to happen! I think Blizzcon will show us the last two Allied races! Story is pointing out for Light Undead, and Dark Rangers

FIrst of all population of belves is the same as humans and night elves.Second if you like them so much you can go to any asian mmon rpg and play your bland race there, what is the difference if you don’t give a crap about development of your character? Seriosly every other asian mmo has your favorite elves just without magic addition…
Just keep the racials the same, you’re creating problems. Cosmetic options shouldn’t come with racial change.
Nah but they were suddenly fighting Deathwing! It already makes no sense anyhow. Any BE can start with golden eyes yet they will start as fel addicts in a pre-TBC zone. These are just excuses to excuse the minor change of 1 thing to justify a new race (KT most prime example).
They were 1 people, they still are. The Lightforged is just the military branche give them that spot and just be done with it. In your words I can come up with several new allied races:
- Stromgardian, +1% melee damage
- Lordeanon survivor, homesickness (home is now blighted and can’t be retaken anymore).
DI is the only truly universally loved on the Alliance where Horde has 4… they spent barely any time on Alliance allied races. Can’t wait for the 6th! Shaved worgen! EPIC!

I will not renew my game time for sure when it expires. People or person who gave this decision is either extremely stupid or just trolling the Alliance side. I have no other logical explanation. Whoever thought of this “Trashgnomes” would be a nice addition idea, I hope your time doesn’t last long with this company.
Damn, all we get is trash. I will probably take a break for a while at worst because my faction is getting ignored constantly. Nothing good, pure trash. I will keep following the news and check whether or not they brought something good to the Alliance side.
Horde and Alliance players are paying the same money but getting different quality product in return. Quality and content is much worse if you are an Alliance.
They screwed up even Kul’Tiran race by not enabling skinny version of them, here we are, 1.5% of Alliance playerbase is playing them. Imagine trashgnomes now… They can’t be so stupid right, it was clear as day that fat race wouldn’t be popular, still they didn’t give a skinny body option, but lets give orcs upright version right…
Yea while posting this I realized I got bored of this stupidity. Favouring Horde is unacceptable when there is another side of the coin, 45% of your customers, and you keep trolling them. I still hope this is an out of season april fools joke tho, I would be glad if it was.

You don’t like mechagnomes. So anyone who likes mechagnomes or wants them is obviously wrong. So blizzard has to do what YOU want.
