Blizzard Adds 100% Player Experience Buff - Winds of Wisdom

as of right now I’m at 431.5 with an entire day left to go. Still got the Worldboss left to do as well as half the m+0. So some m+ running tomorrow should do the trick, especially considering that I’m still sporting a few sub 400 items, including a 355 shield

Today went pretty badly. Still juuust scraped to 440.

3x the same azerite slot from emissary, TW, and vision quest. So only 1 epic azerite piece and 2 others at 400 ilvl still.

Visions gave me 420 and 430 bracers, slot I already had 440 of.

Brawl quest gave me a pvp trinket

Still ran zero M0 dungeons.

Still 3 LFR wings to do but I’ve been busy most of the day doing shopping for grandparents who can’t get out. And I’ve got raid in 20 minutes so unless I decide to do LFR / M0s in the dead of night I’m probably done.

With all that being said though, I managed to clear 2 medium zones + Alleria at 435 ilvl and rank 3 cloak without good essences. Which kinda says a lot about the power prior knowledge / understanding in early weeks for visions.

…regarding the actual topic:

I went with my Amputee Diaper Gnome from 58 to 69 within two hours and 4min queues for each dungeon. Besides that, I also leveled my human pala from 88 to 103 within three hours I think.

Pretty sure the Twilight highland portal is much faster (and you can clear TD on your way to the scenario, free gold & tmog)

My monk is now in the mid 90s, it’s so fast!!!

Hnng… I am tempted but… what I really want is the squish first so’s I can actually level through a consistent storyline in Legion/Pandaria and not out-level it in a single zone.

(It’s just not the same with experience locked…)

Those people don’t matter compared to the new player experience and how the majority hate leveling in it’s current form. Accept it or move on.

In my humble opinion, don’t bother with that. Just level your characters and do everything later on with your main to save time. Some zones are just horrible, especially in BC and WotLK.

I know, that’s why I want to level 1-50 in Pandaria and again in Legion  I want to see the storylines for them (never did them when they were current), but I also like the idea of them actually being a levelling experience rather than a place I briefly skip through one zone of. I’ve tried freezing XP at different points, but it just doesn’t feel the same when you’re artificially holding back your character and getting no gear upgrades for hours at a time.

Will have to sit down and work out how many other classes I have any interest in ever playing… if it’s 3 or more, then I can reasonably take advantage this month

I’m calling it a bit early because I’m short on time today. Endresult after less than 2 days on max:

Neck: 72
ilvl: 438.00 with 1 410 and 2 420 items still equipped
Back level 5
1 R3 essence, 2 R1 essences
not a single item bought from the AH
Nothing Crafted
fully pug played
no LFR
No Timewalk Ulduar

so in short, confirmed possible to get 440 in 2 days

Bit of update: My amputee diaper gnome is close to 85 (started today at 62) within four hours of leveling/dungeon-hopping. I don’t think I’ll go overboard and reach 100 today but this is the first time I actually enjoy leveling in a long time. I’m pretty sure now I’ll hit both my Vulpera and Diaper Baby at 120 the end of the event.

btw: Rumor has it that BGs around LV111-119 give 1,5-3 levels with the pvp heirloom trinkets. I’ll test it asap out with my human pala when I have completed the next Legion invasion.

I hit 101 on my Vulpera but the queue has slowed down considerably. I wish we could queue for all eligible dungeons at once instead of having to choose an expansion.

Just do the invasions with that character and Highmountain quests. Otherwise, start at the same time another character and you’ll be fine too. At LV111 go on Treasure Chest hunt in BFA (the big ones which net 50k) and queue up for BGs. Imo the fastest way to get to 120.

I was really sorry to just miss the invasion. I’m holding out for the next one

Got to 116 in two days on my Mechagnome Death Knight. Definitely faster than Korrak at the lower end, but 110-120 feels much slower. Happy to be levelling something that isn’t a monk for once.

Dual levelled her with a void elf warrior from my alt account. They went from 20 to 77 in the same timeframe. Though the Mechagnome did go solo a few times (Duskwood before I thought of the idea, Draenor for the treasures and now again to do incursions and the war campaign). Takes a little more time since I have to loot things on both tabs since I’m not multiboxing. But worth it I feel.

I’ll get her to 120 today and then I’m done. Every allied race recruited, heritage armoured and levelled to 120. Except Vulpera who I won’t even recruit due to my moral and religious objections to their existence.

Not really sure what else to level now, the only characters below 120 on my entire account are the mechagnome, a dwarf priest and a troll druid. The latter two I have no interest in levelling. Especially the Troll because I hate Trolls. And I’ve already got the Dwarf heritage armor from my dwarf monk.

I really wish there was a way to turn this OFF or click off the buff or something.

I level alts to experience content, not to breeze through it and then get stuck at 120.

Only for characters that are not 120 yet

It seems that Blizzard has changed the buff, you don’t get the 100% buff after finishing a dungeon anymore.

Well, I have over 25 120 characters, therefore I’m glad you can just speed through it. If you want to experience the whole story (Loremaster), just do it with your main and save time on it.

I don’t want to save time on it, I want to take my time and enjoy it.

It’s cool that you want to speed through it, you play however you want. I’m not saying this buff shouldn’t exist, I just wish there was an option to toggle it, so I can also play how I want.

Oh my, you were not kidding about those Legion invasions, I was still up when the second one hit and I’m now 112.

Not ventured into BGs, I really don’t enjoy PvP much but I’ll bear it in mind.
