Maybe you do, but that’s not lore reflective since we know she lived in Dalaran and before it’s destruction, she told Alleria that she’s moved.
Alleria did not disclose the location, but as far as the spoilers go…Windrunner Spire seems to be the most logical choice since it doesn’t look run down…at all.
Blizzard always favored Blood Elves because they’re the only reason ugly, monstrous Horde still exists in terms of player numbers.
It’s the very reason why Belves were Horde in the first place.
Belves players hate Vereesa and the Silver Covenant because of the Purge (obviously faction war is nice only when you’re the one purging cities, if it’s the other side doing it we must QQ endlessly), so Blizzard essentially cut Vereesa and the Covenant out of the game after MoP except for a small cameo in Legion and an insignificant cameo in BfA.
For what’s worth it, know that there’s ton of Alliance players who support you.
We’ve wanted playable High Elves many years before Belves were given to the Horde because nobody played ugly cows and filthy zombies in Vanilla.
And you will continue to receive support from a majority of the Alliance playerbase, because High Elves belong to us and we will not stop fighting for their right to be considered their own race in the game selection screen.
But I’m sure one day they will become playable.
The right way with there own home and everything to actually make them there own race instead of just taking over blood elve stuff
People who want that, aren’t High Elf fans. They are just Blood Elf fans who want them on the Alliance which is NEVER going to happen.
If you want High Elves, you should know their modern lore and should also know - for them to be a proper race, they need independence from the Blood Elves, Night Elves and Humans.
High Elves deserve to be playable, and sidelining Vereesa Windrunner was a huge mistake. She led us to Alleria, helped reunite the Windrunner sisters, and then just vanished. She’s been around since Day of the Dragon , fought Deathwing’s forces with Rhonin, and founded the Silver Covenant — yet was ignored in Dragonflight and The War Within . A throwaway quote isn’t enough. Really disappointing direction for such a key character.
I have a collection of all the Warcraft books, but I don’t play for the horde at all (only to complete certain achievements and get transmog, mounts, and toys).
And I want the High Elves to be unique, with their own main city, sets of heirloom armor, character customization, etc
Yes — Vereesa Windrunner is still considered a high elf in the Warcraft lore. She is the youngest of the three Windrunner sisters (Alleria, Sylvanas, and Vereesa) and was born as a high elf of Quel’Thalas. Unlike Sylvanas, who became a banshee and later the leader of the Forsaken, and Alleria, who became a void elf after exposure to the Void, Vereesa has remained aligned with the high elves’ original identity, though she is closely associated with the Alliance and the Silver Covenant.
Her status as a high elf also differentiates her from void elf or blood elf transformations that happened to other characters in the same storyline.
Just like to point out blizzard are just screwing with us.
the fact we got a race that has nothing to do with high elfs as a playable race when people have been asking for high elfs. When the whole expack is about high elfs.
No you don’t. You want them to have everything the Blood Elves currently have. Your not an actual High Elf fan at all.
Real High Elf fans are those like me. Those who know and understand High Elf lore both before WoW and during WoW and acknowledge that this move of none playable High Elves in Midnight/Quel’Thalas IS the correct move because they can actually be built up into their own city and civilisation.
Don’t lie because what you want is that they just take everything Blood Elf. Now Blizzard has seen sense and basically said “No we won’t be doing that.” My way for playable High Elves is the only way and the best way.
