Wanna know something funny, all the original dw classes could use swords, rogues could not use axes and hunters could not use maces, so swords are the most plenty full 1h weapons in classic, its more likely that there will be a good slow 1h sword in any of the dungeons (not the level up raids going forwards) that drops because the designers knew what they were doing, there are some decent maces and axes coming up but there is way more swords.
Hey.
Blizzard screwed necromancer over for D4, still not fixed 7 months after release, and they are making them even worse for season 3.
So yeah⌠blizzard likes to keep people waiting
Exactly, It is fun! You do enough to pull your weight and you are having fun, thatâs really what matters.
Iâm sitting around 120+ dps on my shaman with RB + FT, and i nearly pull aggro, even if the tank is geared and good.
Shamans damage isnât isolated either. If weâd bring 70 dps, but increased the rest of the groups dps by 20, weâd have a dps-value of 150.
Iâd love to see things for elemental that increases dmg for casters (FT totem Rune giving x amount of spell dmg/healing by example).
As an unbiased feral / lock player: Feral having passive WF was litteraly the selling point for druids. Like Meta for warlocks. You canât remove that! The fact they gave on top of that savage roar + mangle spam was the icing on the cake for top tier dps.
My guess for shams is they want them to be the go to tank. And they can be brutal in pvp as well. Not everything is grim. Even if shams are notoriously hated by the devs on retail (hammer nerfed everytime they get viable*).
*: like Ricky Bobby once said: âIf you ainât first, youâre lastâ. This applies 100% to 2024 WoW. Average is not âviableâ. S tier is
Shaman will never be the goto tank. Fury prot will pull ahead in later phases. Giving our best utility to druid was a real kick in the nuts from blizzard
Shaman being a good tank in p1 was just an oversight on Blizzardâs part. Theyâll remedy that mistake in future phases.
Indeed but warriors are in a tier of their own. Had the feeling they really pushed Enh tanking. Might be wrong though.
They would need to make alot of new gear specific for shaman tank to make it viable later on. Right now i dont see how you reach def caps. Also the damage is way too low
I donât think they expected shamans to ditch the shield and go dual wield (who could have seen that comingâŚ). Shaman is a decent tank with a shield, but itâs dual wield and the rockbiter bug that really makes it a great tank.
Would be interesting if they focused on future phases to makes takes actually need to be tanky, and not a dps that is just designated as the tank.
I think they fully expected enh, ele and resto to be garbage
One thing Iâve learned throughout all the years is, never main a shaman⌠It will always suck
Too realâŚ
I played shaman from OG vanilla until Zandalar. Shamans always get screwed. So really, never main a shaman.
Itâs like that one girl, the one you know is no good, thatâll disappoint you time and time again given the chance. But when she says sheâs changed, that this time will be different, you just canât help yourself.
25 is not end game, I know, kinda mindblowing when you think about it. It was the same when the warlock cried over meta rune âTHERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO TANK NOW!!!â
25 is endgame right now. Thinking anything else is delusional. Thats like saying 80 isnt endgame on wotlk because cata is going to come out.
25 is our lvl cap right now, everyone knows that 60 is the end game of what we are playing, but the phases we have let the devs get more work in for the other phases.
Yes they could add more gear, more weapon etc, sure! But even at 60 you will have X beeing better then Y, noone knows what will happen in P2 and maybe then its more viable to be dual wielding as a shaman.
Comparing different xpack with one xpack where they have a lvl cap atm is more delusional
lvl 60 is in over a years time, wtf are you smoking? cata will happen before lvl 60. Its valid to compare a different expac with different phases. different expac brings a level increase, new zones to explore, and new raid content/bgs. Thats exactly what p2 brings compared to p1.
Neither is feral, look how that is shining
