Blizzcon rewards are genius

Lol is that why he’s naked? xD

Seems so

Peronsally, i really dislike out of place / out of timeline armors. A game I played called archeage added all sorts of swimsuits, sweatshirts etc and it just breaks the whole medieval / steampunk look entirely.

I thought these onsies looked ridiculous

I wouldn’t call it genius, but it’s quite original. I hope this item and the backpack are a sign of things to come in 9.0.

I remember Ion saying they were looking into lifting some transmog restrictions, and they have been talking about quivers for a while. Maybe we’ll finally see both.

We lost a lot of customization by not having dedicated tier set anymore but only sets for armour type, having more customization coming back behind a paywall feels like being screwed.

Oh how I hate the loss of tier. In the past if you didn’t like your armour set you at least had the other plate (or relevant armour type) to choose from. You could collect off pieces of other tier sets. Now it’s like this is the one look for plate and you will like it or lump it.

that’s how you get skin lootboxes implemented in WoW
and then they stop making good models for the gear you get in game (assuming they were good to begin with) and instead start reskinning classic gear for in-game rewards while giving you the onslaught set as a 30$ “microtransaction”

you will see a lot more of them in future since the critics and stuck in 2004 players can enjoy classic and dont cry anymore about such silly cosmetics

It’s not the critics who cry about cosmetics the issue.
Is the fact that more and more of the better cosmetics are going behind a paywall while the ingame rewards are getting sloppier each patch. reskin, recolor, recycle.

perfectly fine if you’re monetizing a f2p game, not so much when you ask 15€ a month to play.

Personally I do not like that set. I mean, we are unable to transmog stuff like holiday transmogs all year round because of the supposed immersion breaking and yet now people can walk around dressed in a yeti pyjama, which is arguably a -lot- more immersion-breaking.

I understand that there should be some silly stuff like this. But I do not appreciate the double standards.

Ppl who cant afford the ticket make some nice excuses LUL

I can afford the ticket, and I will most likely buy it because of tradition with friends.
I still do hate the onsie and think it is immersion-breaking and looks like something which belongs in Fortnite. It is not an excuse, but a matter of personal point of view.

I completely stand behind that. Wow is ripe for free2play.

Can totally get behind this. I think restrictions will be loosen’d up, they have to right?

How about not making it F2P and instead making a good game where cosmetics are earned and not bought for 15 bucks

We’re past that, like it or not, the ingame store is on the menu.

I cant afford it :frowning:

I can’t. And sadly so, because i do want those pets. Always missed out on those things. I love the onsie, but those pets…

There might be a investment and returns on said investment argument as well.

In simple terms…noone likes to get fleeced while knowing they are about to get fleeced.

imagine spending $ 230+ on a fortnite skin in WoW
