Flamelash was camped heavily by horde in every location, thus caused mass exodus to other realms.

Merc mode is a terrible idea for TBC.
Merc mode added = Need to add warmode, because alliance can’t quest properly in the world

No it doesn’t though, it affects balance on PvP realms.
Why would anybody roll alliance, when you know that we’re heavily outnumbered on PvP realms… when horde would get.
- Easy BG queues.
- Dominate open world.
- Camp dungeon entrances.
- Way more players = easy time finding dungeons/raid players.
- Better economy as more players = more supply.

The other solution I can see happening is a free faction transfer from horde>alliance ONLY.
Its toxic because you undermine a solution purely based on flawed logic that can be applied to horde the same way. No pvp for pvpers so they leave. Dead server THNX. wow much logic. Cons of playing horde? Who the … thinks this way? Cons of playing alliance? who the hell cares. This is about que times and pvp. Not some silly spite mentality.
You mention flamelash or some other dead server because of MEH I GOT CAMPED NOW I QUITZ. Typical. Even tho what you are going to see now is that people will still want honour so they are going to camp you in scc or some other pve dungeon area. So you just made a recreation of the very problem you just mentioned. And no nobody will do a faction change that has been proven to be dumb and irrelevant. Nobody plays alone. or wants to start alone. Only if people go together. And when that HAPPENS IT MAKES THE SERVER EMPTY SO GRATZ U JUST MADE THE PROBLEM WORSE BY EMPTYING A SERVER.

My best bet is they won’t do anything besides paid faction transfer later in the cycle (perhaps phase 3 or 4).
That’s the only reason I can see why they’re not saying anything. Not saying anything keeps the hordies hoping (and subbed) for longer.
