To be honest, from keys ive done and people I have talked to…

Im really, really happy this week. Because all those “meta healers” (DPriest, Rdruid) with all their DPS and CDs…

But guess what? They dont have a 12s interrupt, plus 2 AoE interrupts like the shaman does.

I have been carrying PuGs all week with my utility. And people are all of a sudden surprised to see shamans healing… :smiley:

What 2 aoe interrupts does a shaman have?

yeah also happy to have kick, stun and aoe blind as pal, helps so often. especially on fortified dht before tree boss the eye guys when they are stun immune and get bolstered.

he probably doesnt mean interrupts/kicks with lock and means knockback etc

Capacitator totem and Thundersorm.

Cap totem can be improved to have it duble. making it 3 aoe interrupts. I prefer a shorter CD on cap totem.

As a monk healer I am not having a problem at all this week. I think its more tanks that are having issues with cd’s. Then to be fair I am only doing +18’s can’t be bothered chasing anything higher.

It’s probably splitting hairs but stunning things is a stun, not an interrupt. Otherwise I can say priest has an interrupt (fear).

Went into a +22 DHT.

I got one shot on the first pull when one of the mobs jumped on me while bolstered, it overkilled me by 103k when I was at full hp, 832k hp at full hp.

The poison was also hitting people for absurd amounts if mobs got bolstered and I can’t dispel it as a holy priest. If they took some damage besides the poison they were dead even on lower bolstering stacks. It was ticking closer to 300k every second during higher bolstering stacks. Like, bro.

What’s unfun about it?

Bolstering has become an really silly affix because the way to counter it now is to single target focus the big dangerous mob in a group full of smaller ones which die naturally to AoE-cleave. The original idea behind this affix was to kill the mobs at the same time to avoid the creation of this one mega-buffed raid boss mob. But now we have a season with a lot of dangerous caster/ranged and healer check-mobs which scale absurdly with bolstering. I think bolstering needs a change in the direction they did with raging. Affixes which change the scaling of enemies HP and output aren’t good for the modern M+ setting.

Yes pure semantics.

You might have a scream, every 45s. And a plethora of mobs immune to fear.

But cap totem with talents is 30s CD more or less. Plus Thunderstorm which is also 30s CD. Plus a 12s interrupt.

And if you wanna get cocky you can also spec to totemic recall and get 1 more cap totem every 2 min. But nobody does this.

Also: Root totem is nice for certain packs. Like the mini-dinos that do a ton of damage in AD. If you root them they cancel their jump and don’t hurt anyone.

Same with the spiny boyz from EB or AD… Tons of cool interrupts if you know how to cheese them.

Also, tremor totem totally negates the fear of Rezan. It becomes a punching bag and you can save ~2 min there in AD Tyrannical runs.

The problem is that average wow player is incapable to play outside of the pattern, so most people use same pulls every week which is ridiculous.
