Nothing new about that. But listening to guildies on discord, im not suprised. Buying gold has become very normal.
And the people who donât buy are stuck paying 10x more for bijou and other mats, all because most people go for dirt cheap gold, driving up prices for everyone who plays fair and doesnât cheat.

Not true. At first, bots usually use fresh accounts and for 1st month you canât pay with token (and most of bots dont live more then 1 month anyway). At second, if you check gold prices on some well known websites, paying for sub with gold is about 8-10$ in real money equialent, while paying for sub directly in cheap countries (such as turkey) is something about 6$ per month.

If bots wouldnt live for 1 month then the botters wouldnt bother making the bots. In the beginning of SoD in P1 there was a guy who showed how he was botting 100 chars at the same time.
Also botters never pay for wow , they are here to make money, not spend money. They just create accounts , loads of them and then wait till 1month ha passed, they also have backup accounts just incase accounts gets banned. This is nothing new mate.
Why? Itâs same as any buiseness, you spend some money for new accounts, and get money from gold. Even if those accounts live for 3 days but give enough money to pay for the next account and some profit, the botter will create a new account. With current gold price and assuming bot in BRD doing 100-150gph, its about 15 hours to pay for next sub (in Turkey region). If bot live more then 15 hour, itâs already a profit and botter will continue making new bots. You can experiment yourself, add any BRD bot to friend and see that he got banned in 2-3 days. But he still do the profit so botter continue creating new bots. 2-3 days live is already 300-500% profit for bot, and its VERY good numbers for any buiseness (and botting is some type of buiseness also)
The best way to fix it is just make flyhack detection and insta-ban when bot start hacking inside the dungeon, its REALLY EASY, but the only reason why blizzard dont do it is because they get profit from bots paying new sub every few days (and with insta flyhack detection when bots are banned since they start flyhacking inside BRD, those bots stop paying new subs because no profit)
Botting is a type of buiseness. (Almost) any type of buiseness require some money spendings, and buiseness is profitable if profits more then spendings. Of course, as in any buiseness, botters want to minimise spendings (so they pay turkish cheap subs), but its almost impossible to make spendings=0. And as i said, gold for wow token also has a value, and its value on rmt sites is more then 6$ needed for turkish subs, so bots (esepcially in classic) buying cheap turkish subs, not wow tokens
