Botting - Refund Me

Report them once and Blizzard will investigate them. It’s never instant. Reporting them 5 times means the queue is blocked up and so it will take even longer for them to be investigated. Also it’s not against the rules to use follow. Annoying yes, botting no.

They weren’t on /follow as all 3 were using swipe individually which would automatically remove a /follow command but I do see where you are coming from with the back logging.

Thank you very much, it worked out for me they refund me

No problem  happy to help.

If blizzard actually wanted to remove bots and multiboxer the easiest way is to remove /follow command. I haven’t see any player using it for many years and even if ppl still use it its the mimimum impact to get rid of bots

Same, I did this for the SL expansion and got a full refund. It only counts as used if you activate the level boost token. Then they wont refund you as they cant revert the change. If you use tokens to play they may deduct the game time not sure about this though.

Just my pov - if you reported them as botting and no action was taken chances are they are NOT botting. They are not using 3rd party software to perform the same function as one. Its also not against the rules to turn off leveling.

I also have an issue with rehashing old content and charging me 10 buck more for something I already paid for - but as some one said to me. Look at the 10 bucks as shared community payment for development time to adding affixes to the dungeon. Still goes down like a jagged pill but it is what it is.

Never buy pre-orders, never.

For now what I can practically recommend to make a statement is to take a relatively extended break (not touching anything on your account), and then ask for the time back. Using that channel, you should be able to give more direct feedback on the side.

The actual solution for the entire problem space has been recommended many times before: rares must live at least 60 seconds, ideally more, and have global, cross-faction tag. Solo people unable to beat them (maybe in excessive time), you wait to assemble the zone, and then attack as a group, and health scaling ensures that everyone can have some fun hacking and splashing.

Question is, what is a rare supposed to be about.
Today I’ve been lectured in another topic that a rare is that: a rare. Only few players are supposed to engage or have them, that’s their value, deal with it.
Alternatively, it’s a non-regular mob that appears at intervals, and to make things a bit fun, requires coordination and stuff. Basically an achievement of skill.

Sorry, but I don’t understand what you’re saying.

I don’t think OP can achieve a refund (“60-13=47”).
Players can request game time readded to their account, add a note, if it’s still processed by humans.

OP problem has nothing to do with the expansion and could be resolved.

I didn’t, other people paid for mine with their token money.

This is incorrect, because if you leave the botter running for 3 months then they will have essentially payed for any bans that can be issued, thus meaniing any bots left for more than a minute are steadily damaging the game, not only causing players to unsub frequently out in the world but also causing damage on the auction house resulting in more unsubs which when peoples friends unsub because of such, they are likely to unsub too.

As such the longer a bot is left ignored the more the fire spreads, not banning bots immediately on sight is simply one of the signs that your companies employees are making excuses as to why they do not need to do their job, and by contrast damaging the companies reputation as a result, similar to how leaving specs like frost dk in their current state will do a similar thing but with a much more direct impact.

Its like doping in sports, the people botting are always 2 steps ahead, and when one piece of botting software gets shut down, the next is ready.

If bots existed when you preordered the expansion and Blizzard’s conduct with regards to them hasn’t changed… do you think you have moral grounds to ask for a refund?

It’s like me walking into a coffee shop, saying “give me a large” and then asking for a refund when they bring me coffee.

Hes already got his refund tbh

Under regretting his purchase besides once people see how dry the genre is of options they generally rebuy the expansion anyway

Botters oftenly use stolen credit cards to buy accounts.

So regardless of how many times u ban they never stop because they never pay. Figuring out the software allows blizzard to potientally gather information on the botter to hand over to the police and have arrested for fraud.

imagon that dude what spent 100k us dollar on diablo immortal now the dude wants to refound it becurse his gear ilvl is so high so he can’t find any matching pvp

Received my refund in my bank account today.
