Bring the player, not the class

So you want a boring game where no classes feel special or unique in any way.

No from me.

Yes, that’s exactly what I have been asking for. Obviously. Thank you.

You’re welcome.

I agree the scrolls we had from classic onwards no one ever complained about them but somehow now they are a problem i do not get it.

So. Homogenised classes?

Why even have classes then?

If you want every class role to provide every element?

For competitive stuff. I’d say it would be easier to remove overpowered abilities in that environment. Such as lust. Which it tends to be.

You didn’t say if you think this should be PvP or PvE either

Are you crazy? Bloodlust should never be removed. In fact, it should be made even stronger and more amazing. It should always be the big guy in the front letting out a huge shout to motivate his team to charge into battle. Haven’t you ever seen Lord of the Rings?

They were added that early? Thought they were a bfa thing or whenever they traded group buffs

They used to drop the scrolls from any mob and be able to buy from vendors for a limited amount

I mean, it wouldn’t since if someone enjoys Shaman or Warrior, they’ll still play Warrior or Shaman despite other utility buffs/spells being on all the other classes.

Not saying this because I see the OP’s point or whatever, I just really find this whole “Everything will be the same” and “There will bo different playstyles” narrative rather idiotic.

Different scrolls only applied to single character. I’m talking ones that apply to group

Those i think were made in MoP not 100% sure

Why would they? They all basically look and play the same anyway if you take this to its logical conclusion.

Honestly? I’d quit. Maybe not from the OP’s changes alone, but I just know what’s coming next. I don’t want to go there again.

Because… If I want to play a spellcaster who uses elemental magic, I’d play a Shaman. I can’t play a Priest or a Paladin for that.

I don’t think you truly understand what a “logical conclusion” is. You might want to rethink the use of that combination of words. Nothing’s going to happen to your funny little panda racial just because every group should have a reliable Bloodlust every time.

Classes have already lost too much identity over the years just to blur the lines even further

Oh that’s no problem. Since we need to bring the player and not the class, and the player happens to be a warrior and we need a ranged spellcaster, we just need to give warriors a spellcaster build! Let’s make a build all about magically enchanted roars and shouts and Valarjar magic. Nice, now we can finally bring the player, not the class.

Oh boy we really need a healer, but we wanna bring that warlock player. Too bad. Guess it’s time for that warlock healer build we’ve all been clamouring for.

“Bring the player, not the class” is an awful design goal. You can make limited arguments but the title of this thread is ridiculous; Blizzard have been down this road, it isn’t fun - let’s not do it again.

You’ve already mentioned 4 other things you want to homogenise, and you’re also hurtling insults around at anybody who disagrees with you (which is basically all of us).

I know a troll when I see one - stop it.

but wait they did this already.

All classes have stuns
All classes have pushbacks
All classes have a slow ability
All classes have a root ability.
All classes have self heals
etc etc etc

I haven’t hurled any insult at anyone. I think you are just not very good at handling differing opinions. Also, I haven’t mentioned 4 other things I supposedly want to homogenise. It would be nice if you would put more effort into understanding statements correctly.

There’s no limit for these people. No limit at all, I’m telling you.

Not only should all classes have an interrupt, they should all be of the same cooldown now?

I mean it’s just…

Really?

Maybe it stops here with you, but it never truly stops here. Even if you got this, at some point soon you’d be back here making the same complaint with a different set of demands.

It’s gone way too far already.
