Have you somehow missed the fact that 1. You never MENTIONED you were shapeshifted in your OP whilst posting on a Paladin (So I don’t know how you expected people to think you were shapeshifted)
2. Why did it not occur to you to mention EVERYTHING you were doing when it wasn’t working, giving people more ways to help you understand.

Seriously, you sound like such a child it’s unreal. Because of your inability to do a WQ first time (Again, one of the easiest), you come onto the forums DEMANDING that someone lose their livelihood over it, then proceed to call every person who gives you advice names and try to belittle them.

Your intelligence is quite baffling.

I was away for 3+ weeks, and you are still iLvl 211. I am 210 I think. So … yea! Go play some more. MAY BE you will be better then me.

Fail to see what time spent playing the game has to do with anything to be fair, You may have been away for 3 weeks, yet play more hours a day?

So what was the point you were trying to make?

If you believe this, then report it as such.

Show us your main and prove it. I’m betting if you really are 210 ilvl, you were boosted for it (So I’ll be checking your logs as well ^_^).

You really expect me to believe you’re better than me whilst also saying you’re struggling with an EASY quest xD. Oh god, I’m dying.

Again, you never mentioned that you were in shapeshift in your original post. Please, tell me where I said it wasn’t a bug, I’ll wait. Not once did I mention it wasn’t a bug, if the brazier’s are not giving you the extra time on each one whilst shapeshifted, then it’s a bug.

BUT, as you started this thread on a Paladin, how were we supposed to KNOW it was a bug. Not to mention, you’re still trying to destroy someone’s livelihood because of something so small.

How about this, tell us where you work so we can put in complaints for you to lose your job. It may make you see SOME sense (Though I very much doubt it).

If the Op had approached the thread in this civil manner, then the solution would have been given a lot sooner, However they decided to cry and complain and deride posters trying to help.

I read the original post before editing, and there was no mention of the fact that the OP had been shape shifted, and editing the original post, then mocking posters is wrong.

Lol this is one of the better quests compared to some other garbage we gotta deal with. The only bad thing about it is that purple things are very transparent and small, I failed it the first time as I was going braindead and wasn’t even seeing them.

oh no question about the OP was wrong in how he/she/it started the tread no question there, though how the first many replied to it that the quest was easy and he was bad, when all he ran into was a bug in the WQ is just as bad in my opinion.
now the OP should have been more civil about the start with more info but most of the posters before i mention the shapeshift problem should also have been nicer and have to thought out there replies before posting to(assuming they did know of the shapeshift bug) but they should not have been deeming so in this tread it is not only the op that is at fault though it does not absolve him of his mistakes

Ignore the “PRO’S” in here. They keep telling me that I should of been nicer, when all i got from them in the first place was : LOL get gut , more or less.

And what blows my mind, is that THEY STILL BELIEVE that I am wrong and they are right, and that this is not a bug. I mean … wtf? If is not working, because that’s literally what it is, then is a bug.

Anyway , this are just a bunch of WoW fans, who I’m sure they were also defending BfA the way they are speaking in here. Meaning : You are wrong and is not Blizzard, even tho’ that’s wrong to say at least.

hey i will defend bfa, not their best expansion and the ap farming was anoing but over all bfa was a good deal of fun(just dont tell blizzard that), but as said it had its flaws, just like most other expansions had

You are assuming it is a bug? This is the first time this subject has been seen on the forums, I’d have thought that if it was a bug, then the complaintes would be a lot more prevalent.

There was no mention of the Shape shifting at all though for the first fair few posts, so all of the posters replying originally were trying to help, and questioning why the OP was failing.

Again the OP went off the rails at the slightest irritation, edited their original post, then continued to demean posters by ridiculing them for missing the edited ‘Shape shifting’ post.

As posted above, if the OP had simply given the full info in the original post, then nothing more would have occurred, alas the OP called, in more than one post that they wanted people to be fired. I think the whole post was originally a timebomb posted with the pin pulled where the OP would just sit back and watch the carnage.

Edit…Also seeing how the OP now seems to be happy just to ridicule and call people ‘WoW Fans’ etc just shows that maybe a better approach will be advised in the future, as they aren’t really helping themselves.

No one told you to “get gud” until you started refusing to listen to the advice you were given. They gave you advice on the subject you had spoken about with the little detail that they had.
Seriously, avoid ANY form of MMO in this game. You seem to struggle with constructive comments.

Again, quote where people have said it’s not a bug when it comes to shapeshifers not being able to get the timer reset on the torches. I’ll wait.

I am no where near a “WoW fan”, I have a LOT of problems with this game. I enjoy it still, but, there’s a lot of things still wrong with it. I also barely played BFA cause of how bad it was. But, you’re juts being a complete WoW hater, you find the TINIEST thing and blow up over it, then fail to understand why all the other people are laughing at you.

Do you have definitive confirmation that it is a bug? At the moment you are assuming it is, as quoted earlier, if it was a bug, then surely the forums would have picked up on it sooner?

Edit…have you reported the issue as a bug?

Why of why are these forums so bad as they are? And why do ingame issues persist for so long? Well, look at this topic for an awnser to that…

How the TS could have been:
“Hey guys, I have this issue with the WQ “Calling the Champions”. On my Shaman I can 't do the whole run in 1 go seeing as the flame debuff gets removed eventhough I light up the baziers on time”

To wich people could then reply with the fact that being shapeshifted makes the refesh not work.

But instead we get a whole load of agressiveness from the TS to people who are trying to be helpfull all the while screaming that someone needs to lose their job because the TS can’t be a normal, decent person…

Right, let’s be civil in all this and just respond in a calm manner because I already can see this thread went from “I do not like this quest” to “I don’t like this quest” but with sarcasm.

So, again, let’s be civil.

1: There is no need to fire a person for a job that they were given for a quest that is indeed as simple as placing a square in a square shape hole.

2: It does seem that you’re having time issues, now, WITHOUT sarcasm, that issue can be caused by,
A: Brute forcing it, ignoring the slimes and just stepping on them
B: Attempting to shortcut the track itself to “minimize time waste”
C: Using spells that CAN remove the debuff, such as dashing spells or mounts or even shapeshift (I believe).

3: The solution for your issue is simple, the honest pathway, just follow the speed runes and avoid using speed buff abilities as they will POSSIBLY remove your debuff forcing you to go back and get it.

Yes, we did read that you’ve avoided them, but a quest that usual lasts 3 minutes with slimes that stand still for almost 20-30-ish seconds before moving once more.

As for the Shapeshift incident, it may have been a misread from someone who did not check your class which is CURRENTLY Paladin with the ONLY ABILITY being your Charger.

So, how do we solve that? By acknowledging that the issue does stem from you rather than a bug, unless of course someone would care to correct me if I’m incorrect that indeed a BUG can occur.

Right, so, with this way explained, I think we can all bury the hatchets. If not, well. At least I’ll have some entertainment on the way. :man_shrugging:t2:

Nice mis-quote. I was referring too not being able to use the speed boosts whilst in shapeshift, not the whole “timer doesn’t reset when shapeshifted”. Did you even read the post, or are you just trying to pull something out of nothing? xD

Still love how you boasted that you’re “better than me” yet still won’t show your main ^_^.

  2. That’s just an image of the ilvl, not your main character itself. Again, show your main to prove you’re “better than me”

If we’re just gonna go by ilvl, then I’m better than you, since I have 2 ilvls on you xD.
