The world first race isn’t even a race, it’s a sprint. Method always clears the tier in 2-3 lockouts. It’s not entertaining at all.
That apes that spent months to prepare for their trick with rag, and that guild that needed years of practice to be good. Its ok, if I play years in EP, I would also get world 1st kills.

It’s just different people different perspective.
How Apes beat method in new classic wf - it was pure humiliation even by method standard.
World first is world first - in original classic nihilum got wf. In new classic Apes got it - even though I don’t like that guild.
I know method since Paragon guild golden era was going on. They disbanded so method for upper hand with merge. Now we don’t have many guild who can compete Method now a days.
unlikly with the time it requres to compete with best.
method and co play more in a single lockout/week then weeks/Months of normal progression time for other guils.
in those 2-3lockouts they spend more time in the raid then most will accros a entire tier.
and still has to get nerfed for even slightly worse guilds.
if method takes even longer,means even less people overall will get to do the bosses.
Method didn’t participate in WF Classic, they just hosted it

It’s not focused around it but mythic raiding is focused around a good marketing event that brings many viewers to streams. WoW names gets popular on rankings which may bring players to the game.
It’s no longer this massively one sided world first race as it used to be. After BOD and the amount of people being interested in watching the world first raid clears, other guilds have actually stepped up considerably.
Uldir was finished with a significant method victory. BOD was closer. And the azshara fight was actually very close for all guilds.
Who knows? Maybe this time, another guild wins.
Let’s face it. Real world first happened 15 years ago. This was a good nostalgic moment for reclearing, but you don’t call a 15 year old raid clearing, world first.

They are a Guild in World of Warcraft. They are also an eSports organisation.
I doubt the majority of the world first group are being paided to pay on a fulltime basis or even making decent money out of it. Sure, the team includes some ‘big name’ players that are playing fulltime and making a living out of it, but it also includes a lot of people who have normal jobs.
Most of Method’s (as an organisation) earnings seem to come from winning tournaments in various games. Remember there is no prize money from world first mythic raiding.
They are making some from sponsorships but they also have overheads and 20-30 players. When you consider the hours they put into the game it likely doesn’t pay well for the average member of the world first group.
Ofc no one really ever mentions the tens of thousands of dollars they’ve raised for charity during the world first races either.
And even if every person in the world first group was a fulltime paid player and making a living out of it, so what? More power to them if they’re getting paid to do something they enjoy and entertaining the people who like watching the race.

How many times do we need reply that method player where not competing.
The only players of method present there were: sco, Roger, deepshades, scrype and canta (but i dont remember)
All the other players at that even where affiliates (esfand, hotted) or people invited to the event (guzu, Kennymarsh).
There are people on method roster that have not even installed classic.
Lorgok even joked about apes world first comparing it to a LFR world first.
To reply to op: if limit healers have got better or maybe some new quality recruit, they could win.
Method won thnx to 2 healing azshara due of their disc priest being the mvp of this racr
Limit was leading the AEP WF race for most of the raid iirc, yet Method took azshara down with an unexpected strat.
They can fail, and almost did last time. Kinda curious to see how the competition will perform this time around.

Lol, i find it funny when people have lfr normal and heroic to play with, but as soon as some form of content is designed for the top tier player, we can’t have that, no can’t do. Everything should be designed for me.

It’s not like mythic raiding remains extremely difficult all the way through, the race to world first is just a one time thing, after that bosses usually get nerfed and gear increase makes it easier for everyone.
Method do have the upperhand but not buy much and anything can happen I think, also I do think mythic raiding could be more intresting if Blizzard just stopped to have it locked to servers and let it be crossrealm from start, becuse that could make things realy intresting.
Not true. Most of them have real life jobs.
But yeah, they’ll most likely face little to no competition. After all, they have Method Josh as one of their healers.
Mythic is not new it’s a re-badged Pre-WoD heroic; they didn’t make raiding more difficult they just renamed it.
