Yeah, probably not the rich people. They’re all as tight as f. It’s probably just average people like me who aren’t wealthy but probably won’t sweat too much on £60. Originally, I balked at it, until I did a bit of reading on other people’s opinions, and changed my mind.
It’s really convenient to have one of these to pop when you’re by a craft station, or out in the wilderness and want to list/buy stuff, pick up a message. Just like the warbank portal, although that thing has a 2 hour timer, which I don’t see the point of.
Let’s be real, though. Nobody actually needs to buy one of these mounts now. There will always be one open everywhere in the main cities now, so you can just use someone elses.

You haven’t played any gatcha games then. I was playing one years ago and the first day I logged in, I saw in real time how 3-4 players dropped 10k in one go to get VIPX status… Stood there for a few minutes dumbfounded. That was for one day… They don’t stop doing it after, either. They never do.
Or, there was a video of one guy that spent even more on Diablo Immortal and complaining how he didn’t feel it was worth it (lol).
Give them an option to buy and there will always be people buying. It’s the whole business model with gatchas.

Normally I don’t care what people do with their wallets. Its their earned(hopefully) money so they can spend on all kinds of 
they want.
Not my or your job to be the internet therapist for them.
There are lots of f2p games out there with tons of microtransactions to your heart’s desire, where you can get rid of your money. You’re more than welcome to join any of them, I’m sure.
I would pay $1,000,000 dolla’s for a yacht mount called Bobby’s Whaler (this is so epic it would require an additional subscription to make it work)
It would have hawt gnome ladies everywhere
They would sell “Bobby’s Oil” and the Gnome ladies would rub it into my little potbelly to protect me from the sun and the envious glare of peasants

thats actually a very good idea 
if people are willing to pay a lot for like a statue in blizzard store why not make like a 500 euro enormous dragon mount.
