Because that is exactly he kind of stunt current dev team would do. Wrath-Cata-MoP was the pinnacle of WoW and it has never been repeated. Almost 8 years have passed and game is not even CLOSE to how things were.
we are at a point where mop/wotlk pservers are better than retail, and the funny thing is, ques are faster there, so probably more ppl play pvp on psrvers than on retail, the reason why ww monk bm hunter etc is around 30% representation bcz only the ones with meta main left on retail, others either quit, play pve, or went to a better xpac where you actually win/lose by doing something instead of rng and 1 iq setups
Rising sun kick hitting either for 60% of your HP or not was a big factor back then especially in ww mirrors
Mop ww is nothing compared to now ,9.1 you rndly oneshot teams

Oh yeah for MoP terms WW does insane dmg in their burst but just by checking how many stacks a WW pops and if he has trinket proc or not you can distinguish if you need to use anything or not.
Things like dying in bearform etc are not really happening either. Its maybe somewhat similar to SL without the proc but you have much more tools to react to it which makes it feel better overall.
Plus you really do get aids as WW against plate. I can sit most go’s as warrior resto druid or even Hpriest
can always use more player on MoP server

rogs were not the best in ssn12, but still r1 viable, maybe thats what he means

Rogues in season 12 worked with Spriest. That was it. Everything was 3 min+ cd. We had preparation and Shadowstep in the same talent tree. Lynx Rush one-shot rogues and couldn’t be vanished, your best bet was feint spam.
Rogues were broken af half-throughout season 13. Then ferals took over due to Cloak and Dagger and Shuriken Toss Nerf.
Season 14 and 15 they weren’t broken. They were great as always in RMD/P, RM/Boomy, Dancing with the Stars and RPS. RLS as well, but I could never get that working lol… But they weren’t any more broken than any other class melee class(Except ret).
MoP at the end was all spell-cleaves. L S D2, Shatter, God Comp, L S D…
Agree. But I think that is due to cata being inbetween. Dropped millions of subscribers. A cataclysmic downfall of wow hehehe… Suddenly everything had heals, everything had stealth, a few new boring zones. Everyone playing the same classes… And pve was a huge disappointment as well as far as I know of…
all in all, it was just such a disappointment going from wrath to cata…
