Nothing that improves you dmg, Garrison were basicly a gold income and achievement hub. You did have the legendary ring that you upgraded through the raid, but it wasnt hard or time consuming at all since you could do it on any difficulty once per week.

Right now i havet played retail since shadowlands. Ive been focusing on classic since i enjoy the flashback memories. I would t have anything against playing retail aswell tho if i had time for it. The easy content on classic fits my game schedule better. I only need to raid once per week and then im done with all content i need to do.
It was Legion like people said, but this was only before the last-patch. If we play last-patch like we do all the time in Classic, you have catchup legendary and catchup artifact power to make the grind softer.
I agree with you. For me, Legion was the best expansion ever made. The raids, legendary, artifacts weapon, the start of MM+, the music, Gul’Dan/Kil’Jaeden fights. Outside of Vanilla I don’t think there’s any expansion like that where you can literally play the game 24/24 since there’s always some valuable activity to do for your character. In TBC and WOTLK, we all raidlogs and servers activity rise only when new patch is released.
The fact that Dalaran is again the capital city in Legion say everything about it.
It did due to buffed ilvl. In Original you still required Naxx runs to gear up. Now I can craft some 232 (upped from original), 245, buy BoEs and go strait to Ulduar 10 for 232 rewards that will put me around 4,8-4,9 GS just perfect for ToGC 10 start. That means skipping Ulduar 25 normal entirely. Currently I am trying to set up Ulduar 25 normal PUG raid to get Valanirs for my alt and there are barely anyone signing up, that only prooves taking abovementioned gearing route. Having 4,9 on hpal and 4,6 on prot spec I am considering gearing a bit more in ToGC and trying setting up Ulduar 25HM instead. With ICC release everyone would forget 10ppl ToGC as the easiest ICC 10 normal would drop 251 gear pushing out all previous content, but ToGC 10 runs as they would probably be dropping 258 instead of 245 gear in phase 4.
Even back then, Ulduar normal items were iLvl 219 in 10m, 226 in HM, compared to 213 in Naxx. When you factor HM drops as well, there rly wasn’t a single T7 drop that was still BiS in T8 except for a couple drops from Malygos and Sarth 2D.
As for ICC10, ppl would still wanna do it for the EoF. Plus, a couple ICC10 bosses are pretty much free kills in hc too, like Gunship (and, depending on how good your raid is, several others as well)

I couldn’t agree more. I am playing until Classic Legion, I am not going back to Vanilla and his broken gameplay again.
