Cataclysm Classic
- Darkmoon Faire Island is now set to open on May 26 through June 1.
- The Stratholme Main Gate entrance should now place you in the correct location when queued through Random Dungeon Finder.
- Exhaustion, Sated, and Temporal Displacement will now be cleared from pets when they are cleared from their masters.
- Mage
- Fixed an issue where dispelled Ignite effects were increasing the damage done by future Ignites. Dispels from the Glyph of Polymorph and duels ending will also now clear the damage done.
- Rogue
- Fixed an issue with Deadly Momentum that caused its increased critical chance to be consumed by auto attacks that did not benefit from that increased chance. This is a true-to-reference 14-year-old bug, but was clearly unintended, so we fixed it.
- Shaman
- Fixed an issue with Healing Stream Totem where it was not benefitting from the Shaman Restoration Mastery ability Deep Healing.
- Warlock
- Fixed a problem with the values shown in the Warlock Molten Core talent. It will now correctly state that it reduces cast time by 10/20/30% at 1/2/3 talent points.
- Warrior
- Deep Wounds damage will now be reduced by effects that reduce damage taken by a percentage.

What is point to moving Darkmoon earlyer this time? Blizz skipped previous darkmoon w/o warning, so scribes allready got some damage,crafted some Noble decks for sale and now they wasted.
This time they got less time to mill for cata decks then was planned, Darkmoon is allways first sunday of month, where is logic behind descision to move it ?
Can we get Warglaives transmog fixed please?

This change makes sense, but what about Fury warriors? They feel like theyâve been secretly nerfed and practically disarmed this expansion. Even at the end of the expansion, grinding for Titans Grip gear doesnât feel rewarding with Furyâs mastery nerfed so much it feels unplayable. Is it fair? While other classes with high damage and multiple PvP options like Paladins, Rogues, or Ferals are accepted, Fury got nerfed overall via mastery. Itâs not just about having the worst burst cooldown, but also lacking PvP abilities, crowd control, and escape options. Arms dominates both PvP and PvE, making it the smarter option. Letâs not force Fury enthusiasts to switch to Arms for a better experience.
We have many options; letâs not disappoint Fury enthusiasts.

Just watched Crixs video and i just want to weigh in about Archeology. 13:18 for anyone whoâs curious. (Canât post the YT link, just search Crix)
I agree, Arch is good for people wanting to chill. But itâs the only thing worth doing in PrePatch to prep for raids, especially for people like myself who played all of Wrath and started prepping for Cata when you announced it.
Why add bad luck protection when it doesnât matter - after raid officially launch and we can access the normal raid weapons, which are equal in power level.
Please change this - even if its on launch. Something tiny, like a 0.05% increase to the drop chance per solve would go a massive way. That way you get to keep the casual aspect for everyone chilling and the people with 1500+ solves // literal days of playtime can be on the same playing field as anyone with good luck. Adding this would mean the spare time we have after levelling, itâs worth us carrying on being in the open world digging!

This is not a bad idea at all: adding increased chance per solve of a specific race seems a good way to balance things
Or knowing the wonderful community of Classic would convince even midcore and casual guilds to enforce getting the epics since âtheyâre guaranteed and if you didnât get one youâre clearly not committedâ

Donât wanna be that guy but if you donât get an upgrade during Phase one (and effectively all weapons are outmatched by the 25 HC version) would the sweatlords, parsers and GDKPs even allow you in Phase 2?

Do you have any proof your drop rates are bugged and need a fix? Or is it really just the same âBad Luck Protection?â What next? Guaranteed drops on raids since the schedule is tight and youâll need top DPS for Phase 2?
They have completely ruined the Fury Warrior spec, making it unusable in both PvE and PvP. Meanwhile, people are fixated on the transmog of legendariesâsomething that wasnât even intended to be part of the game initially. Itâs frustrating to see the forum dominated by discussions from pet collectors and young players fixated on trivial changes when there are far more significant issues that need addressing. Itâs disheartening to witness a community more concerned with cosmetic features like legendary transmogsâfeatures that werenât even promisedâwhile major gameplay problems, like the viability of the Fury Warrior spec, are ignored. The imbalance in priorities is frustrating, especially when dedicated players are struggling with core aspects of the game. It feels like the forum is dominated by superficial concerns, overshadowing the critical gameplay issues that truly need attention.

The rates are correct, but if the rates were possibly lower than 0.1% on a piece of any loot in raid, surely you would think that needed to be changed? Since youâll be using these drops to raid with.
Now youâre going to bring up mounts. Again, different context. A mount is purely âcosmeticâ - but the archaeology staff for casters is a 500 DPS~ increase for âhaving good luckâ. Which for anyone looking to prep for Cata, itâs worth doing and the only thing worth doing.

If youâre gonna get sassy, atleast stand on business for something which isnât extremely unhealthy for anyone looking to prep for Cata. Or carry on defending Blizzard for catering to people whoâre âlooking to chill while doing Archaeologyâ ppc
Will that 500DPS translate to anything other than slightly faster run? Will ot be difference between cleared or failed raid? Yeah I donât think it will. Also do it but donât freaking destroy your sanity while youâre doing it.
Maybe, or maybe Iâll settle for weaker but easier to get item. I spent time in phase 1 barely getting upgrades. Hell my tank self still has most of that gear because I just had the worst luck and across multiple bosses the upgrade either didnât drop or I lost the roll before I gave up on catching up in Phase 3 and left the game for a while. And Iâm already aware that in later expansions (was it MoP that introduced Personal loot?) Iâll probably gonna be facing even worse odds that will depend on raidâs composition.
Wrong on both accounts.
Iâm a Holy Paladin with Prot as sub spec. Considering swapping for Ret in Cata for questing/rep grinds or swapping to my Alt if my healing Portfolio doesnât work out. I also havenât even maxed Archaeology because so far my guild doesnât force me to grind it understanding how low the odds are and there are just more interesting things to do than Archaeology.
They have freaking ability to stop. The gear isnât obligatory to clear the raids and unless youâre really aiming for World First on HC itâs not something you should do exactly because itâs unhealthy.
