I got a battleground against 5 rogues … I don’t want to que for another battleground since that means there is a chance of this happening again and resulting in me being unable to play the game.
On a serious note isn’t it strange how the time to kill is maybe like less than 10 seconds and a single rogue can keep you unable to play for almost the same time?

Arent you the main offender in this matter? DH has twice more utility than it actually needs. And losing all of it would still make it good enough class, because of how retarded damage and mobility it has.
You can literally CC chain a DH for pretty much the whole game. I’m not denying that DHs are OP. Why are people jumping on the “Dh aRe Op” bandwagon when this whole thread is about CC?

How would you need to think more? Having different schools and drs → you have to think so you don’t apply the same school while having everything on one school you just need to know if they have dr or not???
CC is part of what makes wow pvp so interesting. You can differ a very good team from a very bad team by looking how they properly cc. I am talking root / slows / fear to stop your team from reaching flag carrier or similar.
If people want to do PvE rotation they can go and do PvE.
Being completely chain CC’ed and then disarmed straight after is definitely not a fun experience…
Of course it is not fun to sit idle but I would rather have that than some uber turbo mongo fiesta where everything is about damage. If you want to just sit and do damage you already have a gamemode - PvE

For me it’s constant root. All you have to do is spam CC the DH to put them out the game in solo lol. Best way to beat DHs…

I imagine if blizz were competent at all in balancing rogues and mages would lose at least 1 CC ability ~15 years ago. Now its 2023 and people just accepted its ok for these 2 classes to be extremely strong or close to unbeatable if played right. Just ask yourself a question: what 2 classes consistantly can 1v2 less expirienced players if played by a pro player who shows close to 100% perfomance? Have you ever seen a warrior r1 stramer effortlessly wining rogue/mage at 1800, can you even imagine such situtation? The moment mage or rogue can’t be god-tier daddy blizz rush in with +X0% buffs to all their ability in panic. As if they life depends on it. And buff machine keeps brrr even when its too much already. Even now both classes are pretty stong but outshined by noob stompers like ret or fury (lol!) warrior. Is it really hard to make sheep 1 min CD? Or remove sap?
In short I just wanna say blizz are highly incopetent in balancing pvp and when they try it its chaotic and decisions buffles many pro-players. They overbuff classes where they don’t need it, ignore classes who need buffs urgently, don’t touch already OP classes for months, ignore most feedback which later turn out to be legit (sometimes even on beta stage). And they dont adress players concerns. Is it really that hard to communicate and say: hey guys so about OP DH we think you are wrong because this, this and this, you are wrong in our opinion because this and this. NO they just do weird balance decisions, often pve is the reason for them as if pve depatment doesn’t interace with pvp one or they constantly forget separate balancing for pve and pvp is a thing.
I dont think we will se a fix to this.
i still feel that CC schools has to be combined more so we get faster DR
a good setup will have 2 of each dr school and that will just be to hard to counter.

Getting interrupted by a melee should make you immune to other interrupts for some seconds.
Make it a pvp set bonus for caster specs.
A CC should not be an IWIN button.
It is not, but kindly show me a video clip where it is. Or where did you get that from? There is a reason to why we have trinkets and why a team of three people all trinketing at once is REALLY bad.
