Censorship and puritans

Ye man, it’s sooooo totally the same. :man_facepalming:

Even back in the day, while celibate was mandatory for the men of the cloth, they found a way to enjoy life at its fullest.
Now they weren’t typically mixing business with pleasure, but sometimes even they couldn’t help themselves.

I recommend we do the same these days… as long as there’s something to enjoy, that is. Worst case, we create the fun content ourselves… :woman_shrugging:

Blizzard truly is the best advertisement for FF.

You mean people such as yourself?

Meanwhile on tiktok girls are publicly shaking their butts or even clap with their tiddies for some challenge. I think some semi-nude ingame art paintings aren’t going to cause harm.

Companies are getting more and more ridiculous because they are afraid to get bad media attention…

Imagine comparing tiktok to a game such as warcraft, a videogame where the workplace was plagued by sexism and harasment. It’s hard isn’t it, differentiate between those 2.

But we all knew that most of you people never cared about any of that. It was just some new ammo to attack Blizzard for.

Imagine thinking Blizzard are Christian fundamentalists. It’s hilarious how clueless some of you are.

Imagine thinking that that paiting was reason why women and men was exploitationed. Will you rape women if she don’t wear burka?

You’re not very smart are you. Them cleaning up a workplace (and their game as a consequence) that was plagued by sexism and sexual harasment isn’t the same as the Taliban. But apparantly simple concepts such as nuances are a bit too hard to grasp for you.

But please do keep being “outraged” that they changed something, which you probably didn’t even know existed, as part of cleaning up their workplace. It’s either that you didn’t understand what the lawsuit was about or that you didn’t really care in the first place.

It is diffrence between clearing and demolishing workplace.

Do you work there? Have you asked the women that work there what they think of this? Ignorance is bliss.

You heard it here first folks, changing some pictures in a videogame translates to “demolishing workplace”.

No but women in my workplace have half naked fireman calendar above desk. I have nothing againts.

Oh, that settles it then. They should close the lawsuit now regarding sexual harasment and sexism, because some women at your workplace have a half naked fireman calender that you’re ok with. Solid logic.

Why you mess game with rl?

It’s not exactly that hard too understand as to why. There are many women who work on the game that got constantlty reminded of the toxic culture at Blizzard thanks to what is reprezented in the game. Such as the glorification of certain abusers, and the same sexist culture from the people that made it into the game. What do you think what kind of message that sends to the women who work there who were victims of the Blizzard frat boy culture?

Just FYI, Kirikou and the sorceress, a cartoon made for child is pegi18 in the U.s because there are… Boobs… Yeah… U.s puritanism at its finest.

ok, when will they cover the table legs as legend tells?

This is fantasy game. GAME!! It is made for Entertainment purpose not for showing some one ideologic.

I didn’t know that it’s normal to glorify sexual harassers in a videogame because it’s a GAME. My mistake.

Um, I didn’t say Blizzard are Christian fundamentalists, I said the culture of purging risque stuff in mass media is largely due to said Christians having a disproportionately high amount of influence in the cultural discourse.

Why Blizzard did it in this specific case is because they think it’s a bad look to have their game have things like this and have it’s inclusion be associated with people who are allegedly sexually abusive at work.
I was remarking on the more general culture of having things of this nature removed.
