Class Tuning Incoming – 30 October

Haha, I can’t believe it, so you decided to leave MM Dark Ranger nerfs unchanged, my both AoE and ST dps as Dark Ranger is already around 20% weaker than that of Sentinel, and is total trash in comparison to meta specs, yet you are going to further nerf Dark Ranger and buff Sentinel, good freaking job!

Now to be true to your amazing tuning, why won’t you requalify Dark Ranger from Hero talents to Loser talents? Just to think how you abused Dark Ranger in your marketing goals and how you keep butchering these Hero Talents.

buff, nerf, buff, nerf, buff, nerf, can you just decide what you want to do with bm all ready this pendulum is getting tiring already…

@Kaivax

Can you guys just gut sub completely at this point? Or remove the spec to be honest…

PVP is currently a mythic+ 2.0, classes doing 700k sustain dmg, when a single setup spec cant exist for more than 1 week.

Give Sub Rogue PVP some love at least, give some quality of life changes (maybe hero talents not breaking CC), or compensation for nerfing modifiers and add more raw dmg to the spec.

Thanks if you read.

nerf rogue. Always nerfing rogue. Since 04 it’s always just nerfing rogue. You like doing that, don’t you. Nerf nerf nerf. Aiaiaiai. Poor rogues!

At this point, I am reading the forums like I used to buy newspapers - you gotta keep up with it daily or you will miss things… These kinda changes used to be a once a patch thing before, IF ANY at all.
At some point it will become too much and I’ll just park my hunter until they decide what they wanna do with it… Make up up you minds, jeez.

Blizzards attempt at balance tuning, is giving me whiplash.:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

i can’t breath, every weeks update is nerf/up/nerf/up, i feel like it’s League of Warcraft now

The point of creating talent trees is to let players make their own choices.
If you force choices, there are no choice anymore, and talent trees become useless.

Speaking of mana, why do life potions restore a good third of HP, while mana potions have been absolutely useless for several years?
When there are no more Brez and some Healers are dead, it would be nice to have an effective use of mana potion.
And to have an alchemist profession as useful for Healers as for DPS and Tanks.

Yes but Voidweaver is funnier and prettier. Stop trying to make people play what you want, and start making fun and visually entertaining.
Same thing as above, the point of creating talent trees is to let players make their own choices. So why force Discipline to play particularly Oracle in raid, instead of making both Voidweaver and Oracle fun and interesting… and let players choose…

Blizzard should think about separated damage templates for Raid and M+ imho. Specs are buffed because they aren’t on top in the Nerub-ar statistics whereas they’re in a good state in M+. That’s stupid.

Hello. There is a tank spec in the game called Brewmaster Monk.
I am saying this because we haven’t seen a single change since the release of the expansion. I know its hard see because it is the least played tank spec, but you should start wondering why.

we dont talk about this, here.

Stomp and Multi-Shot are still just annoying for BM. Remove Multi-Shot for BM completely and replace it with Beast Cleave as an active ability. You can then also remove Stomp and put it into the new Beast Cleave ability. Because automatic Stomp makes Ice Trap and other damage-breaking CC kinda pointless. This way, we could decide when to use this AoE and should make it also easier for you to tune the numbers. If you have to tune an ability with a 50% (Stomp) or 100% (Multi-Shot) damage increase, you should notice that they are completely broken/pointless and can be removed.

For Explosive Venom, remove the stacking requirement completely and maaayyybee it might get used at all. BM has already too many abilities to use to ramp up damage compared to other classes. By the time you have 3 Stacks, the mob is either dead or it is so RNG that it is pretty pointless and will make tuning for you difficult (same stuff with the 3x dire pet until Hati/Fenthyr are appearing).

Essentially, you put way too much RNG which is hard to tune (as the MM DR changes prove) and makes playing less foreseeable (= skill-dependent) and a bit like being in the casino (which is not a good thing).

this is why after years of BM, my huntard is now a MM.
