Cleaving Strikes (D&D obliterate cleave) needs to change

They should just give it the Earthquake treatment.

Make it a split choice between a standard AoE or that it automatically gets set beneath them.

that would actually take a dev playing the class instead of doing spreadsheet design

I loved the NightFae. They are far away from tree hugging. More like the Fae from Dungeons and Dragons. Creepy and otherwordly. They where the best thing about the whole Shadowlands.

OnTopic: Everything you say doesnt change the fact that I for instance really like the playstyle of immovable object. And so do others considering the answers in this Thread.
Not to invalidate your personal opinion, but your vast majority is really nowhere to be found.

A simple solution is to give the Mograine treatment, making the D&D a aura around the DK, perhaps a node choice between Unholy Ground?

Nowhere to be found if you don’t look for it.

You can enjoy it, power to you. The rest of us will keep asking for it to change. Vast majority doesn’t mean “absolute majority”. No choice is ever going to please everyone, especially in this game.

The immovable object idea works for Blood spec, both thematically and gameplay wise and surprise surprise, they’re the spec that get free procs of DnD all the time.

It is a simple solution for sure, I would prefer it to a floor goop, but it’s also a bit boring. Press a button, carry on as normal, it’s what we were saying about with classes like fury warrior or combat rogue. I’d love to see something more interactive between our existing (or new) abilities.

It could be cool, if it gave all inflicted adds a debuffs for 10sec that replicates 50% of each Obliterate. Could feed in the whole plague and afflictions theme.
