There’s a difference, I don’t PvE, I only did at the start for the extra gear… why would I bother now?

I just dislike some noob Mage saying “other people aren’t proper Mages” or calling them “prats” while you yourself fit into that category. I’ve only ever seen you crying about Mage being weak in PvP, while its one of the best casters at the moment.
You get fully CC’d, G-py into Combust combod, while NOT having trinket/defensives… the problem isn’t Combustion. The mage has just outplayed you and the game was lost probably 10-20 seconds before they even started casting a spell.
Baring in mind combust and instant cast pyroblasts can be purged from the mage. If you really died to it… again… you got outplayed.
Not my fault you think mage needs nerfs whilst it in fact needs buffs to be anywhere near competitive.

Rune of power changes were dumb. I get gcd bloat but it was a cast anyway, it felt meaningful. They ended up nerfing the extra duration on it cos it was op and it’s still op. Maybe change it back to a cast for fire and frost, Arcane can have it instant since it is technically and Arcane magic spell.
Ummm… how does that make sense? I’m bad for saying my class needs to be nerfed? hahah not my fault you need ever crutch you can get to perform.

Yeah I dont mind, they just need to stop Fire Mages killing people through CDs because of Rune, Infernal Cascade and Combustion. Its kind of stupid to be honest and it doesn’t really take any skill to pull off.
Your so pathetic Wynternoob, try getting to a high rating in 2 v 2 if your soooo skilled. You wont because your a trash talking child.
Oh and make sure to do it without any of the ability’s you want to nerf, that way we can see just how ski, rofl, cant keep a straight face, yea go on try winning without any of the stuff you keep asking for nerfs on.
What does meaningful have to do with anything?
We still have to cast the 2nd one, so you still get to hard cast it outside your burn window, but at least now we get a chance to fully utilize our window of trying to nuke something.
Combustion is extremely easy to counter and its the one source of proper damage for fire mages. All mage specs are needing a buff pve wise and pvp im pretty sure theres several classes more powerful right now. Also do not revert rune of power changes… it always felt horrible to need to cast it in any spec and made the playstyle feel clunky.
On another note, do these forums have any moderator of sorts to deal with the toxicity from the kids arguing above? Its bad enough to have people spewing “mage nerfs” when the class is in a bad spot, having people insulting eachother or inspecting eachother to feed their fragile egos makes this post completely irrelevant to anything.
Hi Pyroblinkbam, good post. I personally don’t go down the route of normally having a go at anyone for their profile achievements.
But when others start on it, its just hilarious pointing out the hypocrisy.
