Let’s be honest the Duskwood Discord isn’t really something to preach about actions of others after seeing half the attitudes and things they do in there and how they love a dogpile. 
If you have personal beef keep it off forum, do it in DMs.
As for OP; Gilneas, Strom, Redridge, Hinterlands. All great locations for Ally RP right now and happening currently.
Don’t let the actions of a few bag the rest of your experiences with the many.

I don’t have anything especially profound to add that hasn’t already been said but I wanted to say: welcome back!
Anyone who’s ever RPed (whether in MMOs, TTRPGs, or LARP) knows how our faith in the hobby, the community, or even in ourselves can wobble. Sometimes we fall over completely. So it makes me happy to hear that you’re starting over.
I hope you find joy wherever your RP takes you next.

If you ever find yourself having issues with someone or even just feeling out of sorts, I want you to know that we really do try our best to handle things with care and fairness within the community. You’re never alone in that.
More than anything, I hope you have a restful break and that we’ll see you around Argent Dawn again soon. It’s completely okay to have a wobble out of character most of us do from time to time. We’re all human, and it’s part of the experience. What matters most is recognising when something isn’t working and choosing a better path forward. That takes a lot of strength. Take care of yourself.

Apologies for a rather late reply, was very busy IRL. I’m planning on RPing up north now, not sure when since I’m planning to buy a new PC and prepare a character for when I’m ready to go.

It will be a while since I need a long break as I wasn’t happy with way things were going in Duskwood. I know I did some stupid mistakes, ones I cannot come back from and I was in a bad spot. It affected my mental health and I need a step back until I am fully prepared to come back.
Iff those who are from the Duskwood server are reading this, from the bottom of my heart, I am sorry. I struggled with Elvira’s story and had to remove her. I apologise to those who I made upset and meant no harm.
(Couldn’t reply on my rogue so I’m using my druid)
Go to Stormwind, and do some casual roleplay there.
Let the Roleplay in game matter, who you factually meet, and who hangs out with you (and gives you their game time as you give them yours).
Often by joining a ‘Community Discord’ you subject yourself to a large amount of people who will readily give you their opinion, but not their time.
In general these opinions are destructive or negative.
