I get your point, it’s certainly not shown nearly as much in-game as it would be in the lore. But you know, DKs have that intro quest where they get thrown apples at, demon hunters start off their journey in Azeroth as prisoners, void elves get told they will be mistrusted and even get a reply saying they’re not quite welcome when they enter the Cathredal.
Name me anything like that for mages. There really isn’t, that’s my point.
I’m not sure I can agree with that. There are blood elves everywhere. And many blood elves tend to be magic users. You even have blood elf mages in remote places - ORCISH villages - like Stonard. Clearly, they spread throughout Horde territory fairly quickly.
Who was sent there because he was a hordeboo who generally annoyed everyone “back home” - he wasn’t really there off his own back to be honest. And to tack onto this, the tauren ambassador is less than appreciative of Silvermoon and magic in general.
Fair enough. But all I’m saying is that there are plenty of spell-weaving blood elves all over Azeroth, and that their inclination to dab on the honored elements should be pretty common knowledge.
I’m pretty sure the blood elves, and many other magic users, couldn’t care less of what the orcs and tauren think of their magic. They’ve always done it this way, and no matter how many orcs tell them it’s slavery, I doubt they’d change their way. Maybe those shamanistic races have come to terms with that, and just don’t bring it up anymore.
Dunno why you’re confused. Context for the second post is clearly referring to ill-effects related to addiction withdrawal. Not sure how you missed it but glad I could help clear that up.
I once read somewhere (might have been the RPG stuff actually), that mages can summon water elementals because they tend to be more agreeable than the others.
But summoning it freely, binding it or making a construct all can make for interesting RP.
More shaman ghost ‘wolf’ forms would be nice too. Same deal - they’ve already got the models, it’s just adding the item. They’ve got wolf (orc) and raptor (troll) now what about all the other shaman races…? Where’s my ghost talbuk, ghost ram, ghost tiger, ghost fox?
