Consider delaying TWW launch

I think it’s better to have than not to have. Whether things work now or later makes no difference. Except that the sooner things are released and don’t work, they also break other areas of the game.

My “favourite” bugs include my shadow priest always appearing with an extra dagger sticking out of her head; and the inability to leave combat after practising on a dummy. GG.

The dagger is particularly annoying as the only solution is retransmog to staff and back, paying gold, to make it go away until next login.

Silithus in the past has the sword in it. Going back to present and back to past has no effect.

I hope they consider hasten the launch

In the state the expansion is now, it will be a bigger blow to the community numbers than Shadowlands ever was

It doesn’t bother me either, I keep in mind this is a software made and managed by humans and it gets perfected with live that much faster than closed/limited testing.

It’s ok to deal with a few bumps at launch, people are just spoiled rotten nowadays.

Doesnt a quick reload fix that?

Spoiled rotten nowadays? I’d say the opposite, people like you are way too used to games being released in an unfinished state and then hoping it might gets fixed someday. Wich sometimes can take a long time to deal with some major issues if at all. Not every unfinished broken game gets a happy ending like for example no mans sky

i’d rather have a game be delayed and be good than not being good. think back of shadowlands with thorghast and all the patches. People said the last added zone was pretty good and thorghast being way better later in the expansion. But the playerbase does not tend to stick to the game if they got to wait for the last patch for things to be more okay and fun. I certainly did not experience the last bit of shadowlands when it was a bit better because it being so bad the first few patches drained the will to play it

And lets not forget that the playerbase already lost trust in blizz over the last several expansions. With how they hype this 3 part saga up, they really should make sure its not a buggy mess

This reminds me of the generic domestic abused wife who stays married for the kids and thinks that “one day he will change”.

No alas. I can only retransmog and pay for unmoggging and remogging the weapon.

This game isn’t like any other game on the planet in terms of scope and technical challenges.

You missed that.

“Great comparison…”
If this is the map you use to go through life, food luck.

Even more reason to delay it and work out as much problems as possible, don’t you think?

Anyone thinking its going to be any different is delusional.

Fix forward, no software is ever bug free.

Laughs in Shadowlands launch , 2 hotfixes each week because people were discovering new one shot /broken stuff

No OP, you do not speak for majority here.

If you’ve never experienced release of TBC you know not what bugs and issues are :stuck_out_tongue: this now is kindergarten and smooth sailing.

Fair point

Yeah the amount of bugs the last few weeks have been really telling on how this new expansion is heading

Its always buggy when they release a new expansion it would be great if they could squash those bugs sooner but i imagine its quite a complex process.
