lol someone recognised me from the forums in an LFR last night, I tried to quickly screenshot the instance chat but it was lost in a swarm of dbm alerts and automated alerts from the game, but the gist of it was “Hey are you souldefiler from the forums?”

I named mine Getmemymount… and have already deinstalled again. 
To each their own but just pick a name that fits with your race, not the class.
That being said, Death Knights and Demon Hunters are known to re-name themselves after being “reborn” as their class but mostly keep their original name somewhat.

When I became a Paladin, I went from ‘‘Barathen Smith’’ to ‘‘Sir Barathen Shadowsmiter’’.
i’m just so happy i haven’t seen all the “Arthas” with all kinds of accents and weird letters. There are a lot of name generators out there.
You can use this ones to create some name too:
