As I have said in another thread, in which I might add you struggled mightily to keep pace with us proper English-wielding elitists before pulling that “utility > numbers” “argument” out of your backside and beating it to death, utility that beats numbers is just dealing higher numbers when you look at it. It just does not show these numbers in the way damage or healing is shown.
Let’s say ability A does 100k healing. Ability B dispels debuffs. If they both take 1 GCD to use, ability B is strictly superior in any situation where dispellable debuff would deal more than 100k damage, and ability A is better in a situation where there’s no such debuff to deal with. Because this is what utilities boil down to: they can be crunched down to numbers, and numbers can be compared. Efficiency per GCD, damage/healing per cast, time saved to use later, etc.
If you do not understand this, then you’re guilty of the one sin far graver than betrayal: FAILURE. At WoW-grade math. Which would be the very definition of “stupidity and short-sightedness”. If you’re so hell-bent on insults, at least do us the common frickin courtesy of typing correctly before you’re reported out of posting for some time.
No loa. Only math. No kings. Only numbers.
And you, my dear friend, would do better if you asked someone to crunch some numbers for you if you hate it so much, you’d rather be bad than good if being good requires math.
Ah, this must be why “skilled” people end up below 2k rating while “monkeys” are contenders for Gladiator titles. I must ask again: Show me where exactly specs like Havoc, BM, RDruid are weak. Because as long as some specs are S-tier good (if not best) at everything and others are good at maybe 1 thing, any further imbalancing will only make it worse.
Oh, and kindly do tell me how that 50% disparity in damage between Rogues and Enhance Shamans can be overtaken with “utility”. I’m particularly interested in how the f exactly an Enh Shammy would improve their efficiency by 100% when they’re not invited to raid because DPS checks require good dps and not bottom feeders.
This is the part of the problem. Those guys had 2 years to fix classes & specs that were broken since MoP in some cases and instead they went for another “1 expansion” toys. They’re not playing their game, that much is obvious, because they would not suffer that abomination called “borrowed power” on top of gutted & pruned characters that have to grind it over and over again.
And then the gushing wound (heh heh) will start bleeding again. And they will put some more dressing on it instead of, y’know, fixing it.
I did not ask them to break completely working and fun Legion Arcane. We still don’t have it back because the amateurs can’t seem to get into their heads that dumping 25% of mana bar to maybe get 1 proc sucks compared to getting a proc every 2nd-3rd cast.
Unpruning Mage got us Frostbolt which we will never use as Slow is better snare and Fireball likely does better DPS in case of being kicked in Arcane school. They unpruned WARDS instead. Fire and Frost ones. Because in environment that is all about shadow, nature, holy damage we need protection from Fire and Frost damage. And then instead of getting smart and giving us Mage Ward - consolidated Fire, Frost, Arcane absorb because it makes sense for classes to have some defenses against their own tricks, like melee guys wear plate armor or are dodgy - they pruned it AGAIN.
And speaking of doing it again, how fare your assaults on my judgment, standards or lack thereof, and “delusions”, that is in English “seeing a thing come to life 10 times and then recognizing the signs when it’s coming for 11th time”? Looks to me kinda like German campaign against Soviet Union in 1941: 3 (initial) victory conditions, none achieved, all failed miserably, and it ended in very unfamous retreat…
Btw:

I’m wondering how old are you or where have you been living
Insulting someone in oh so MATURE and ADULT way. Suggesting they lack experience and age to speak about things. While you’re not behaving any better. You, sir, you are a blight! Get thee to a dummery!
