Crafting tables? really?

That’s a nice vision but I’m not sure it’ll play out that way. People usually just do what they need to and rush off to the next place they need to go. The lag could also make it insufferable.

I like the idea of WoW becoming more of a social community again but who knows how it’ll play out!

in before crafting guilds rule the world (of warcraft)

Anything that gets people out into the world and into community spaces is a big win.

I think it sounds great. Looking forward to my loud, laggy crafting room

Sounds very interesting and i am glad that they are finally revamping the crafting systems plus giving you a space where you can be with all the other crafters

Why is it annoying? Because you need to move your video game character to a video game location…? You wanna just log on wherever you are, press 123, and be done and log off again because you hate being online?

Sounds a lot like you should be quitting World of Warcraft to be honest. Do you have problems with addictions or why are you still playing if you hate moving your video game character in a game you choose to play?

Crafting tables SHOULD NOT involve having to be obligated to do raids or dungeons to do them. Yes, have some extra cool stuff you could get from them but not the “normal stuff” and certainly NOT leveling up the skill.

As long as the boostspammer bots not allowed here, it will be good.

Agree, it should come from outside world contents only (maybe some hc dungeons aint hurt), but def not from rated contents.

What about mythic quality gear? Should some of those reagents drop (or have a higher chance of dropping) in that difficulty?

Well i think with this crafting revamps, they try to favor mostly the casual players.

Crafters (if we go with the traditional ways) not “hardcore” warriors.

But thats my opinion only.

disliking something does not mean wanting the exact opposite. having some limitations on crafting some items is reasonable. having limitations on everything and in such a way to ensure extreme lag is quite another

I don’t hate moving my character. I hate being required to do stupidly unreasonable things because somebodys insane troll logic thinks it will somehow build community to trap everyone in the same laggy room. can’t remember the last time I saw a conversation in the auction house that wasn’t between NPCs

FFXIV is adding more and more RPG features every patch and people love it. It will be great having a crafting area where people can feel like they are actually crafters instead of pressing 1 and your character somehow creates potions and plate armour with zero equipment.

Not if there’s CRZ.

Anything else they attempt out in the open-world is a complete waste of time while that hideous monstrosity is still in place.

It will just feel like a bunch of NPCs are crafting around you. You’ll never see them again, nor they you-- in other words they may as well be AI controlled.

People were not talking in legion order halls. People are not talking in current covenant sanctums, people do not talk in the AH, people are not going to talk in the crafting room. I am not seeing it.

And the guy who sits next to you at the auction and endlessly crafting enchants, doesn’t that bother you?
To me yes, a lot.
I am more bothered by the guy at the auction who crafting endlessly than ten people crafting in a special room.

The interviews about it talked about looking for stuff in the open world etc, rather than crafting stuff. A completionist may eventually inlo k everything at max level but Ion compared it to JW in Wotlk as not everyone took the same recipes from the daily JW quest vendor & thus had their own specialities.

It’s similar to a degree, but the two pain issues (the massive initial cost & the need to craft useless junk before reaching the max rank) don’t seem to be the issue here (altho we’ll need to see how much powerful the crafted stuff is)

If it works for all crafting then yes it’s going to be a pain to have to be in one spot to make things. That would be a bad design.

I’m hoping they’ll release more information on how it’s all intended to work.

“…bring back Crafting Tables…”

When did we ever have these? Or are they referring to the different crafting vendors in cities such as Dalaran?

I don’t remember any of this. Never was that big of an issue to me. Not even having to craft Shadecloth/Mooncloth/Runecloth at special places during tBC bothered me.

No i dont. Becouse it totaly makes sense from rpg standpoint. If i want to craft something it most of time requares tools, table, fire, etc… And not just pressing button in interface meju and boom its done.
