After all, it’s Blizzard’s calculation that’s 100% right, and the external site is an educated guess.
I feel this is more about you thinking a guess is better than Blizzard’s actual calculations, as it works in your favour.
its not a guess , how about you level and stop talking about something you know nothing about , i kept this conversation going to get traction or hoping i get a reply from a blizzard employee , no disrespect but not asking for reply from players who have no idea what is mythic plus rating or what my problem is. if you see a post where one employee said the earth is a square you would agree.
well , i got 3731 and we got title , i agree with theepicmage , also have friends have same problem , i don’t think its fair

i remember once i couldnt kill hogger and i was so sad why why i cannot kill him but then someone helped me and it was done !
now i look back and i feel so stupid for thinking kill hogger was some kind of feat!
it is not that i care that much about titles , however i spent close to 3 months trying to achieve that and i did , no reason i shouldn’t get it. It’s not like i won’t play wow unless i get my title but fair is fair. just adding some info that i forgot to mention , a game master also told me that i earned the title but i only had to wait.
it’s still incorrect - by now - and previously was not consistently updated either. The cutoff in that post was updated this month, which makes little sense considering thats a month into season 4 and it cannot be the cutoff value for s4 either since we have 2 dungeons less and thus less points to accumulate. Additionally, the cutoff was previously announced to be 3722 and I myself was 3727 and got the title, further invalidating the bluepost.
Cacs-Hyjal for example has it, ending the season on 3724.3. If you check his position on the RIO Leaderboard, the russian shaman below him being the last player above 3724.0 also got the title. However I couldn’t find anyone having the achievement below 3724 which indicates the cutoff was exactly that.
OP is entirely in the right here to insist on having this investigated.

I think I figured out why you didn’t get title. Take a seat, this is gonna suck:
so if it works the same as pvp, then… thats the reason
well but as i read on the post , the mythic plus end with the server maintenance , so that should still qualify me for it , and yea i managed to push my last rating on last day
which could just be miscommunication. hence clarification from blizzards side would be nice. does seem to fit a tad bit too well atm

Having checked this just now, I can confirm that we’re not aware of any issue where ineligible players (i.e. players who were below the required rating) received the achievement by mistake.
In a hypothetical case where a bug could cause this, game masters would usually not remove such gains (although the developers may on their end, as this is quite a rare achievement). Furthermore, game masters wouldn’t award an achievement to other ineligible players based on a bug.
The post provided by Saneko is an official post from our community manager, who regularly updated the post throughout the season. This number is the official cut off for the region, and you would need to have a rating above 3786 to receive the achievement in question.
Our teams (and the developers) do not base our information on third party websites (and although they can be very useful at times, they are not always accurate).
All that being said, I’m going to lock this thread as everything seems to have been answered by other players.
