If any common sense this would be the case yes 
The few platforms I know, not a single one let people change the name they post from as easily as on this one. Makes it bad if people can talk to their alts or like themselves etc in order to try gain more credibility for something. I saw an thread once which gained like 20-30 new posters that were all created within hour of each other (according the date they had joined forum) say something to agree with each other and I thought it so odd it remain memorable. So the possibility was undisputable there that somebody could had joined 20-30 their alts on forum to agree with themselves. Bnet posting should be on this platform like on other blizzard games forums, and like pretty much any other forum in internet uses only one nick for all to post from.

Wish there could be more then one name that are the same on same server.

I transfered my two charachters from doom hammer do argent dawn and had to change their name…I imagined something similar.
But name of acc and number on battle net should be enough distinctive to let us pick any name we want.
See someone in game with the same name so what?At least i got what i wanted.Its not like i go berserk when someone calls my name irl and someone else responds.
I think I understand what you mean and even if this would be somewhat realistical it would create problems in mmo. Even if the game knows which id your characters are and could separate two Ivanyralas from each the people who mail gold to this person Ivarynalas have no way of separating them from each other so you see it would actually be impossible like that in a mmo. Picture situation if there is 789 Jack named characters with identical name on realm and somebody would try to sends thirty pieces of silver for Jack via mail

I dont see the realm names, it still looks like it has done for a long time for me.
Battlenet posting always gets my vote though, less trolling with that.

So you would need to friend every person in realm in any interaction before you can do with them that would require name. Having identical names on realm would create problems with mailing and whispers and everything where you need to type name.
Maybe e-mail could be added after name?
Even when trying to whisper?

Having multiple same names on mmo is not possible option. Creates too many problems to be anyhow viable.

Moderation had taken a nosedive after they closed the office in France. I wouldn’t trust them at all to make fair judgements always.
