Cyclone seriously needs a nerf

if this thing is dispelable, it makes no sense to use it anymore, except to use it on the enemy healer

no just buff the other cc back to the old value, and remove some micro cc.

u can line, u can kick, u can stun the cast, u can knock it, u can use stuff like fade/ ams bladestorm spell reflect cloak, vanish etc on it, theres enough counterplay to it.

It won’t bring Cyclone in line with anything else.
Cyclone is spammable like a poly or fear.
But unlike fear or poly, Cyclone cannot be broken by the damage, cyclone cannot be dispelled, Cycloned target cannot be healed or gripped by the healer. Cyclone can be used in the middle of AoE carnage unlike poly or fear.

Cyclone has no real drawbacks in the current design.

I agree with micro CC being nerfed. But it still doesn’t solve the design issue of cyclone in PvP.

u know cyclone exist since Tbc and people starting to complain about it since Dragonflight, and solo shuffle came out?

and more people starting to complain about Cyclone, because other cc got nerfed, while Cyclone is untouched, thats most likely the main Point

the Problem about Resto Druid (when it is A+/S tier) he get´s less punished for getting Kicked on Cyclone, because of the Ai treants, what can Keep the Team/Druid still Allive even when u get kicked

also the Kick duration got Nerfed in Dragonflight, what is an indirect buff to classes what uses Heavy cc Like Cyclone,Fear, Poly.

it does, if u buff Other cc back to the Old Value, and to remove aoe backed Dmg

i dont see any problem about Cyclone if u buff the other cc back to the old value, except the fact, that u have multiple modifiers to reduce the cast time on Cyclone, and make it close to be an instant with every talent and some sort of haste

to fix that, i rather to change the effect what have a modifier on cyclone like heart of the wild, or frantic momentum

Just remove some sort of Micro cc´s, bring kick to the old duration, buff other cc´s and change heart of the wild (only my thoughts u can disagree with it, but i see the current issue not just about cyclone, but about the other things because cyclone wasnt a problem for most of the peoples before dragonflight

I’ll give you an example of why it would be bad.
Rogues in current design with old CC values would be twice as dangerous.

With the old CC values Destro would be able to nuke people with little to no effort.

With the amount of damage Melee do right now in short amount of time unpruned CC on their end would be the end of non mage casters.

Cyclone may bot be touched by the time, but it doesn’t mean that it is not really overpowered right now.

Cyclone was in every xpac overpowerd, but this was the main tool of Druids, to create a snowball effect, what leads to a Kill potential (besides of Rdrood)

if Dps Druids have no cyclone (legion showed it) they have to buff the Dmg instead, so dps druid can be a Warri and kill u with just raw dmg what isnt the case currently

Feral druids kill you most likely either with Incarn, or with Cyclone, what created a snowball effect

old cc values? only thing about cc what got Nerfed is Blind. the kidney dr change, was more like a buff to some rogues, what still failed the 1/2 sec kidney Dr

i forgot if Destro lost the “double coil” did they, or cant spec into it anymore? because the cc toolkit looks the same to me, only thing what they lost when it comes to controll is the root, but they got a shorter cd on port or no? the low dmg and the high amount of micro cc looks more of an issue for Destro locks cuz they cant cast at all, and even then, the kill pressure is not there, from my point of view, destro misses the “instant kill pressure dmg, to create Momentum” like the portals in Legion/Bfa

like i said, Cyclone wasnt the Problem, before they tuned close to every “hard” cc down, like blind, Poly, trap etc

u have to understand that the Main Problem about Cyclone is, that u can modifier it with so many haste Talents + the fact, that the Kick duration got Nerfed, that they can spam it.

i cast sometimes Cyclone, even if i dont plan to cc, to just get a free kick, because idc about the short lockout, i will hit cyclone anyway.

and against some Matchups, u dont even try to cyclone without of the haste modifiers, because the team have too much, to stop it, especially when they have a shaman in the team

i think Cyclone is fine, and other cc should be increased to the old value back, the Gameplay to spam as much micro cc as possible, to prevent the enemy from playing the game aint it

Cyclone have atleast a Counterplay, micro cc doe´s not, and are more annoying, the other long cc´s are just too bad in the current Meta, and to nerf Cyclone wont change anything, because then Blizz counterbalance it With a dmg buff, and people will cry even more

The only nerf to it, what i can “imagine” to put a cd on it, but it will be a Bandaid fix, and will not target the current issue about the Game “multiple micro cc, and the need of precog”

You mean double coil with Havoc? They still can.

I suggest to make kick of cyclone to lock dru from swapping forms.

u would only punish most likely Feral for it, Boomkin is chillin in the form while using Clone

and Rdruid, dont need to go bear after the kick if u have hots up + Ai trees out

Feral is the only class what have to go out of form to use Cyclone

back in the days cylclone was insta/or castable in catform

feral is already punished on the Shapeshift global cd, because u cant do instantly Dmg again when u getting kicked, and switch back to Catform

this change would make this Spec, or how to use Clone as cat even more wonky

like i said, buff kick duration, remove micro cc, buff other cc is the better fix

as a bandaid fix, either remove heart of the wild bonus for clone, or add a low cc on clone

every other nerf to clone, will kill this cc

i still prefer old ccs , when everyone had long ccs before the DF cc nerf came , i rather see long cc than stupid micro ccs everywhere
