There are plenty off ppl on the forums and the mage discord that preffer Frost because they say it’s simple and straight forward.

Same reason Fury warr is more popular then Arms, Zugzug 3 buttons done.
Same reason BM hunter.

May I see your documention? Also did no one play frost befors 8.1 then?

The documentation is unfortunately stored in my head, but the statistics are based on personal inquiries in the mage hub. Note, most frost mages, not all.

I typically find it extremely difficult to find anyone who played before BFA, so that percentile is not included in the research. I don’t know why it is so, but perhaps it is to do with the declining population.

I thought it was a good reply. I have hopium that the devs will get back to mage soon. Felt like every other class change was accompanied by dev note except mages. Maybe the mage guy is off sick or something. Hopefully our trees get looked at properly soon. In the meantime I am motivated to get back into dungeons on the mage making the healm that increases haste when you attack a new target this week. Lariat out!
