I need no explanation to be grateful 
WoW is Blizzardās #1 moneymaker. It would have marched on with or without him. Thatās not an opinion, thatās a fact. Thus, this entire point is automatically voided. The fact that the game somehow survived his writing doesnāt say all that much.
Lots and lots of people would keep playing WoW no matter what happened in the story without even caring for the quality, mainly due to them having invested so much time and money into the game. I meanā¦ itās WoW. Itās not some random knockoff title.
The playerbase can diminish. Yes, many players will leave. But there will still be many who keep going forā¦ whatever reasons they find appropriate.
Personally I believe that the quality of the gameās story and aesthetic should be a priority, but I know that I may not represent the majority.
