Tbc just laucnhed and will be on for 2years atleast.
People
Migrated to tbc.
U have 3 choices:
-levwl trough classic on ur own pace and enjoy the world.
- buy and boost a class 58 and start the fun in tbc- servers are full and players everywhere.
- Unfortunatwly quit the game if u cant stomack leveling or cant afford the 58 boost.
Whatever u choose, i wish u all the best!

OP, you must be playing a different game than me. So far, the world is bustling with activity, LFG is filled with banter as well as actual people, well, LFG’ing, and my guild is lively even in odd hours when there’s usually few people online - on one of the lowest population servers Horde side, Hydrax. I know that the situation is only temporary of course, so I’m enjoying it while I can.
The point is to play it. For you the point seem to be stuck at level 20.
With this attitude, you simply show that your ignorance has no limits.
This is not a launch of a NEW GAME, but a New Expansion ( repeat that several times until you truly understand the real meaning of an Expansion ).
A New Expansion means most people have leveled the chars they wanted in pre-patch. The rest ( the majority that is ), level 60, are playing … well , guess where? In the New Expansion.
So, repeat again : This is a New Expansion with the same old (almost) 2 years servers, not a New Game.
You welcome!
PS: As others have said. You missed the boat which you are …looking for. Vanilla Classic launch that is, and the Pre-Patch window for TBCC!

Blizz boost is
Other then that tho? You complain that people didn’t just sit in starter zone for a week waiting for You?
How about you take that entitled attitude of yours somewhere else and stop blaming the game for you not being able to read more than the title of the launch announcement.
As for the content that just launched, that is level 60-70 content, anyone who have a higher level character is there right now, in the content that just released. So yes, the world will not be very crowded outside those levels, because any new player that came in to TBC probably managed to read the actual announcement.

I’m seeing people all the time, I don’t even think the OP is looking properly or I’m pretty sure the OP is playing Classic-era not TBC.

Starting zones will probably not have too many players right now, since people want to lvl to 70. Blood Elf area, does often have a few tho. And no, people are not bored with the expansion endgame yet, most players arent even there yet.
Please provide metrics to support this notion. You yourself state that you are on a full server, completely contradicting this post.
Most servers are running 10 - 15 layers to deal with all the players (in comparison most servers ran between 5 and 10 on classic release)
Also you are trying to level up a fresh character right after TBC portals were opened most zones below 60 are going to be dead at this point.
And if you are playing on classic era servers aka level 60 servers you are 2 years too late only the most die hard fans are still on there and they mostly raid log.
Do /who Darkshore or whatever zone you are in and you see how many players are in that zone.
There is a lot of phaseing and layers, just because you don’t see them does not mean they are not there
Getting bored with the expansion endgame? Lol…
You sound like the depressed type person who projects his issues on others.
The game is fine, Outlands is crowded. I have 50 guildies online off-peak hours. We’re running content together and having a blast.
You do you, that’s what you’re great at. Have fun, LOL.

The game is already dead honestly, Classic Vanilla was insane. More than 1 Billion viewers on Twitch, an insane amount of hype.
TBC ? Kekw. Fiasco. This is what happen when you release a game to soon to make money. To create hype, you have to make player hungry. When you give instantly what player want, this is what happen. TBC hype was very very low.
I can’t wait for next Classic fresh, I will resubscribe as soon as any new Classic EU PvP server is released in phase 1 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOxBzZEvE3M&t=894s
This is what peak game art looks like. Not the frankenstein TBC version.
While I don’t entirely share the whole doom and gloom perspective, I can certainly see where the OP is coming from.
I feel the same. To me, TBC was more nostalgic than vanilla because I started playing the game when TBC was released. However, World of Warcraft has a split playerbase these days – between retail and classic (and now even classic classic!) – and the mentality of its playerbase has changed a lot, too.
On prepatch day, up until the opening of the dark portal, I was quite disheartened by the boosting mentality that seemed to afflict the entire server. People wanted one thing: get to max level. The levelling content itself seemed to be just an obstacle. And when the dark portal opened, well, people wanted to get to max level once again.
I am not of that mindset myself, but I realize I’m in a minority. I want to enjoy the levelling experience, but that can’t really be done if it is a single player experience. It isn’t that bad, I would say, but it is pretty bad.

Yes, I see 20-30 players, most around my level in the who list, but I don’t see anyone at all in the game world. Even in the more crowded zones that show 50+ players, totally dead.
I don’t see why I should suffer from layering because someone else in another part of the game is crowding the outlands with 1000 people in the same zone. Layering is a stupid mechanic.
Why does it matter how many Twitch viewers game has?In game servers are at full, so it is obviously very popular game.
Tbcc is bustling with activity, even multiple layers doesnt help when players have to wait for quest mobs to respawn, not to mention constant groups forming for instances.
Dont get what you gaining with this negativity.

You are just late to the party.
Still plenty of people leveling in Azeroth on my server. Less than a few days ago of course since the majority are now leveling their mains in the new expansion. But that will change when the end-game starts slowing down.
You do realize that this is an expansion right? Do you know many rpg expansions that start at level 1?
Indeed it is.
“Seeing people out in the world” is a dead concept for this game.
Just think its proving the justification for the boost (as a concept, leaving aside how its being charged for/worked in practice).
I felt the 2 week prepatch was amazing. Armies of people levelling up, you saw the same names repeatedly and got a sense of ye olde Classic server community which has often fallen away through Late Game Only Classic.
But… now we are all at 60. So yes, the number of people wanting to answer to “LFM SM Cath” is much reduced. We saw these discussions on this forum before - unfortunately if you missed out, you missed out. Because you can’t very easily be locked into a “generation” of people playing the same time as you. (Which is equally why without Fresh servers Classic Classic is deader than Disco.)
