Death to falling of fly path (Small indie company much?!)

Saving some silver is true if you kill mobs on your way, otherwise you would probably make up enough time flying, to get the silver back from being able to do quests and kill mobs faster.

Happened to a friend.
He got a “Transfer aborted. Instance not found” message then fell.

It’s a layering thing.

This does indeed happen. It is testament to Blizzards incredible incompetence and complacency that paying customers have to suffer through this without any chance for appeal or recourse. Similar to the Blizz sponsored bot infestation in ERA

So should we include a lvl dependent % to get cancer based on your allegory? This isn’t real life. If you play correctly, you shouldn’t die. If the game company can’t guarantee that, it shouldn’t launch hardcore servers

Falling off mounts, falling into gfx holes is just testament to Blizzards incompetence and negligence of wow classic

I disconnected while flying from SW to westfall, died from falldmg when i logged on. So yes it happens. Gladly i was just around lvl 15. If this would happen at lvl 60 would i find a new hobby to spend my 13$ on

It’s called lag/desync. Fix your net

this affect me with lvl 56, died on flight cause of server issues, got a perfect connection at home… find a new hobby now to spend my 13 €

Ah, the typical “I never seen the bug happen, ergo it doesn’t exist”

Where do I say it doesn’t exist? All I say is that it’s never happened to me. I’ll even quote the post you reply to.

Few days ago i also fell from the mount during the big lags on Stitches… Fortunately i used bubble and survived, but in death log there were a lot of people who just died from falling… It isnt one of million case as some idiot said here.

One out of 100000, i think its unreasonable to demand more perfection then that. Either you accept the risk or you should not play.

Thats your subjective view on the unconditional probability based on the likelihood that you observed it. Common mistake. Then you just typed in 5 zeroes, your idea of a really high number. All this suggests you haven’t given it much thought

If you walk around places like that dwarf hold in south barrens, stratholme entry and many others the conditional likelihood of falling into the void is more like 50%

As a sidenote the RXP guides actually show you „log out glitches“ that port you around. I.e. conditional likelihood 100%

I lost my lvl 51 pala due to this bug because I was alt+tabbed and fell to burning steppes close to an elite dragon. I don’t have RXP so it had nothing to do. I know we agreed that no matter what, your character death is permanent. If at least I had an idea that this bug existed I would have never alt+tabbed while on flight path. Now everyone that is aware of this bug has to stay alert while flying - at least until Bliz fixes the bug.

Also died at lvl 40 from falling off flight path… such bs… how is it so hard to fix? Makes NO sense.

second worst death after a lag/dc. I am sorry that crap happened.

Yes, ironic, I’ve flown on dozens of aircraft since 1968 and not one has ever crashed.

Technology is just more trustworthy than an Animal I guess.

Just died today due to DC, and my internet works just fine. Level 54 druid, dead to a lvl 51 fulborg in Felwood. Personally i’m done with Hardcore unless until they put an appeal system in place for things like these. They know their tech is garbage, there needs to be a jury to revert deaths that are not the fault of the player. If you see a deathlog where someone falls of a gryphon, or someone gets killed in 30 seconds without pressing a spell, it needs to be reversed if they want the game to survive. Right now i feel like i wasted 5 days of played time due to Blizzard potato servers, and they don’t even care.

You accepted the terms. Now you are whining that you don’t like them. Consequences  KEKPOINT RIPBOZO

Im glad you can count. But I’m right in what I say. My logic and extreme knowledge of blizzard games and how they work makes it impossible to counter what I write.
