Yeah but why don’t we just give every player every single mount in the game for free so they don’t have to put any effort at all in the game? Sounds perfect.
Imagine these people 10 years ago trying to get the time lost proto drake.

ffs why does this defence always get pulled out? most reasonable people are NOT asking for freebes. we are saying we dont want to kill the same boss a thousand times and for it not to drop. completing the task should give the reward.

I got the TLPD and Aeonaxx and it was A LOT easier than it is now, as it was before shards and CRZ dropped. I didn’t even camp the spawn points, I just kinda found them wandering.

No it shouldn’t. It’s designed like that for a reason. You kill the mob until you have it.
Taking the rarity of a mob because some people are whining and just plain lazy is not the solution.
If you want the mount then get over it and do it.

It would be analogous to everyone who killed any Raid Boss getting their full loot table, each… at the first kill… impractical & counter-productive to conventional MMO-RPG ethos

wanting something after killing it several hundred times is not entitlement. its a company trying to string out its playerbase. i am not also saying to get everything on your first kill. but within a few kills you should be able to get the stuff, especially when its limited to one try a week.
no, its designed like that to keep people trying. no special interest in keeping it rare. and also most of these things aren’t “rare”, its just that rng makes them not common. rng could also mean that it always drops first time for us if we’re lucky. and i do want the mounts, and i do " get over it and do it" but ITS NOT DROPPING.

There are so many players doing the same thing daily. I just don’t see why they spawn at such a long time.
That would be hard earned mounts and not 30% drop rate mounts that spawn every couple of hours that many fight over and spawns at different times… I’m not saying it should be served on a silver platter, I’ve run Ulduar many times for Mimirons head and no luck thus far, but I ain’t complaining about that.

And what’s the problem with that? Not everyone does have time like he has, just like not everyone has the time I have on this game. I don’t see that as being rude at all, because it isn’t.
im not going to say how this time is spent or managed or get into that arguement, but anyone who has killed yogg or world bosses around a thousand times, and has so many mounts… you cant help but think they have spent a fair amount of time playing. if you are not playing much, i would love to know how you manage your time so effectivly, as you would have to be killing yogg on multiple alts per week, and all those alts would need to be lvled etc.

Not my fault that people like the op cant do what i do in an avg 10 hours per week but then again you dont think outside the box .
You should see the amount of Dks and DH i have so please excuse me for playing the game how i do.
Mop world boss spawns every 15 mins on multi accounts i can have X amount of chars there thus getting X amount of kills per week .

OK; let’s consider that to kill Yogg’Saron 1000 times, would require 20 straight years of farming on one character but, more likely (as it’s only been around for under 10) even ten characters every week since release, my initial thought would be that the statement was (maybe) a teensie bit of an exaggeration, but the flat dismissal of the Discord advice within the same post merely warranted a civil thank you/acknowledgement… but, no; we’re too good for that.
Even so, the relative high-ground was adopted, nonetheless and no slight consideration was forthcoming by way of recourse.
If you’re so ready to flout advice offered, maybe none should be offered to assist you in any further plight you find yourself.

That’s it, carry it on, you just don’t know when to quit.
Waiting for a spawn is hardly effort, special mounts take a lottttt of work like raid mounts for example.
I never said I was too good for that, I just don’t like the idea of having to install software just to make it pretty much the same situation I’m in now.

im sorry, but multi-boxing should never be considered a way around blizz’s rng fest. while i have nothing against anyone doing it if they can, that means… if i understand right that you would be paying for multiple accounts? i would personally never do that as i dont think blizz deserves the money for what is a money grabbing tactic by making drop rates so random. but like i said, i will look into what you said about a discord. could help with the WoD mounts.
